I am using Mi tv box for half a year. Previously there was playback speed in youtube tv app but recently for 3/4 months the playback speed (1.25x,1.5x) option is missing. How to get it back? (Or there is any alternative option?)

3. Use 5.1 and surround upmixer to get atmos
4. Obvious, waste a whole lot on shield pro

Am in need of an android media player for my TV and I've read some reviews about them both. The box being older thus having an older android version and the stick being newer with newer android but having overheating issues that can eventually lead to a bricked stick. Cost wise, they're quite the same here. I do have a 1080p tv but the 4k stick variant seems newer over the older version.

So any recommendations here? Would mostly like to watch some netflix n stream youtube.

I'm going to order Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2022) with Android TV 11 and I was wondering, what is the best software for remote access and control of it? I need it to be able to help out parents remotely in case something doesn't work properly. I've only heard about TeamViewer, but I'm not sure if it would work with TV OS, and there were some issues reported in general. Are there any other options?

Just to be clear - I'm not asking about those remote control apps for playback, since they don't show the screen and work on home network only.

The screen saver on my Philips TV starts playing while I'm watching BBC iPlayer.

Does anyone else have this issue? Any fix or work around?

I know this has been discussed somewhat here and there in comments. I just wanted to let folks know the strange issue I had just in case they run in to the same issue.

I have an Onn 4K Box and it was flawless for weeks.

Within the past week, I was getting weird reboots and freezes all out of the blue.

Now my box was powered by an Alcatel AC to USB adapter rated the exact same as the one included with the Onn. (The included one had way too short of a cord for my setup).

Even though the AC Adapter was never used before, changing it out for a Motorola AC Adapter (again same exact specs), strangely fixed all issues.

So I don't know if some adapters don't really put out 1A or if even new adapters can start to konk out.......

I just bought the philips 43pus7906 from amazon, After unboxing it and putting it next to my router I started the initial setup which eventualy prompts me to set up internet. When I choose to use wifi it loads for hours without continuing. When I choose to set it up later and go to the settings to turn on wifi it automatically turns of within 10 seconds. I have tried connecting through the cable en that worked flawlessly but keeping it wired is not an option for the room I want to move the TV to. I have tried factory resetting it and updating trough lan. Which both did not work. I also unplugged the tv from the wall socket and waited for 2 hours, which also did not work. I do not think the problem is with my router since the wifi on the tv doesn't even stay on and also doesnt show the neighbours wifi. What do I do?

Bought a new TV recently, signed in but unable to watch live content on all4. I can only watch the on demand programmes for some reason. Anyone can help?

Hi my tv is currently using a android 10 os and there hasn't been any updates is there anywhere to update it? Cause isn't there andoird 11 or 12?

My cheap Blaupunkt tv has an issue where the lcd backlight either remains on when I switch the set off, or it comes on sometime later. I've seen a few other posts with similar problems on other brands and models where it was due to a power setting - energy saving/eco mode etc. But this tv doesn't have any of those options.

I thought it might have been because I had chromecast set to always allow controlling the tv over the network. So I did a factory reset and made sure none of those sorts of things were enabled. But this morning I woke to find the screen was glowing again.

To be honest I'm not certain it's definitely the lcd backlight, but it sure looks like it as the entire screen is dimly lit. Looking through the vents on the back of the tv I can see the light(s) definitely on. I have made sure even "wake from network" and similar options are disabled.

Is there any other settings that might be causing it? .

I really want to watch stuff on my TV, but the frames are so inconsistent on some apps, are they using some kind of different video mode? It really is noticeable on Esports or racing sports... And because of this inconsistency between apps, I dont feel like new TV would solve things. I have andoird TV 8

Hi, I'm working on a project, and need an androidTV device that can be altered so the play store loads all apps normally available on the phone.

I know there are 3rd party apps that can let you view the phone play store, but I need the actual play store and apps to see my device as a phone.

I can't use an actual phone either, as my project needs multiple devices with no screen that can connect to displays (not mirroring but an actual dedicated hdmi output)

If it's even possible, I am thinking would it have to be rooted and then the build prop changed (I'm going to have to look more into how to do that). If anyone's had success with this, please let me know, and any guides or pointers in the right way would be great, thank you!

I have a 2021 tcl android tv. Trying to get help on what the best developer mode settings would be for game streaming. I stream games by geforce now using the geforce now app from the playstore. It works pretty well but for some reason I get issues every now and again. I was wondering if anyone was up on this and could help me?
