I rebooted into recovery mode with this command wirelessly via termux on my phone-

adb shell reboot recovery

I clicked on update from sdcard to see if I can flash su.zip but bunch of not found messages appeared.

Then I cleared cache and clicked on reboot to bootloader. It was stuck in that blank screen for a bit. So I switched off the power and turned it back on, but now it won't boot again, it's blank like the bootloader screen.

Hi I'm notice that most of the 4k videos I'm watching on YouTube starts skipping or lagging does anyone else have this issue? My tv is using android 10 for the os and the youtube app has been updated.

I own a handful (8 or so) of these boxes and have had success programming them for each of the TVs that they are attached to, except for one, an old Dynex plasma. The TV is around 15 years old, obviously a pretty off-brand.

When attempting to program, it only provides one option to test for both power and volume, after which both fail and I am left with a message indicating that cannot program the remote to this television.

Any suggestions how to get around this so I can turn the TV on and off with this great, cheap remote?

So I'm thinking of experimenting with the Google TV UI on my Hisense H9G. I have the APKs for The Launcher and Google search app downloaded on my computer but I am kinda confused. Because the version of Android TV on here has a settings menu already in the Home Screen, And I switch to the Google TV UI ,does this APK detect if it's a an actual TV or Set top box (Nvidia Shield,Xaomi TV) and keep the Settings Menu and Built-in Google Assistant features??

i ve got an android tv from Xiaomi (Mi PI TV 32) and when i try to connect my airpods via bluetooth to the tv, i feel a little bit of delay between audio and video, expecially when using netflix. Is there any way or app that allows me to adjust the audio delay or that can fix this problem?

Basically what the title asks. I've tried looking into the Google Home App on my phone and looking under devices but I see no data on Wifi usage. Is there a way to do this (track total data consumed via TV use)?

I have tried several times to get 13 on my ADT-3, but when I reboot to bootloader, it just sits on the Android splash screen and never reconnects.

The web version of the device flash connects to the device, but it shows no update or branch avaialble.

Anyone successfully upgrade to 13 yet?

I'm choosing an android TV box and probably will buy the km1, but I don't know if I should buy with 2gb or 4gb ram. I don't know if the extra ram would be really necessary.

Hello, I have a Xiaomi mi box and I have the problem that I can't switch it off via HDMI cec but switch it on but switch it off, the box goes off but not the tv

I have an Android TV from Hisense and even though I have the mic off so it doesn't listen, this is represented by some lights being on in the bottom of the tv, they will turn off every now and then and if I cough just right the TV TURNS ON!

Anyone else experiencing something similar

I'm under the assumption this has rolled out to all devices, however I have 2 CCwGTV devices in my house that have not received it. I have restarted, I've made sure all apps are updated on it, and still nothing. Is there any way I can fix this?

For the past couple of days I’ve been trying to find an app that’s suited for primarily seeing my watchlist on Android TV. Goal is to easily scroll and watch trailers. Tried a few but nothing good.. Anyone have any suggestions how to tackle this?

so i have the Realme 4k TV running android 10, but like other TV i don't see the option to turn on data saver. I searched for the Data Saver for Android tv on play store but couldn't find it, so side loaded and installed it. Yet the option doesn't show up. Is there any other way to monitor wifi usage and turn on data saving mode ?

Hello, I am new to stremio and I wanted to know what addons you guys use (movies/TV shows)? I used cloudstream and it worked pretty fast...when the links were found and I hated looking for different links. Stremios layout is way better but the addons I have are so slow to load up and buffers a lot. Cloud stream rarely ever buffered.

I'm about to buy a Xiaomi Mi Stick 4k and wanted to know if I'll be able to get Dolby Digital (the "old" 5.1 one, not DD+ or Atmos) in my current setup.

I have a Samsung KS8000 and an old receiver connected by HDMI ARC. I get DD and DTS (again, the "old" 5.1 ones) without any issues using ARC in the built in apps on the TV, on my PS5 and using the Receiver by itself.

Rtings says that my TV does DD/DTS passthrough, if this matters in this situation.

So the question is: In my current setup, will I be able to get DD audio from the Mi Stick 4k to my receiver connected to the HDMI ARC port of my KS8000?

I'm looking for an AndroidTv box to go with my LG Tv and throught my research I noticed no informations about software updates are mentionned on boxes tests.

I think it's something pretty important to get at least security updates as it's connected to internet.

I'm from Europe and I will probably go for a Nokia Streaming Box 8000 (I can get it for 70€), it's from an european brand so I guess it will get updates ...
I've heard about NVIDIA and its Shield Tv but it's out of my budget (129€ in my country).

I have a tcl c715 tv which has its own media player but some dumbass software engineer has made it so u cant play any files from storage, and can only play from usb, for example if u go to file manager and click on mp4 file, it will show MX player, vlc etc but not local player

I was trying to play my dolby vision content by smb file sharing from windows, i can view all files in my x-plore file manager which supports smb but i cant play it.

Kodi support DV but very poor performance and frame drops
Just player just freezes up whole tv and i have to pull the plug
plex show up in file play menu but it just opens to home screen and doesnt play my file
and keeps asking me to setup server -_-
