Guys,

I know other people have had this problem before but i just can't seem to be able to fix it on my TV. I tried factory reset, I tried router reset, I tried the date & time sync, none of these worked. What else can I do?

to set up downloads. I keep getting a box that pops up and says downloads not set up on this device yet. Sure could use some help and alos have a OTG cable with my USB STICK AND THE ONN IS'T FINDIT IT EITHER. THE MANUAL IS VERY SMALL AND LITTLE HELP. THANS FOR SURE.

Hi all,

I picked up the JBL Link Bar and subwoofer yesterday on clearance (they were display models)and immediately ran into a problem.

I can't get to the welcome screen to set up the bar and android TV.

The following sequence is all that happens. When powering on the bar I get the JBL logo then 4 coloured circles followed by the Android logo. Then the screen goes black then blue then black with text reading "audio only".

Has anyone experienced this and found a way to get it working? Otherwise it's going back to the shop.

So I am dealing with a couple of issues currently. Around 3 weeks ago I did a fresh wipe of my nvidia shield, and have been experiencing two issues since.

I have a TCL 6 series (2018), shield tube, ps5, and denon receiver.

Prior to the fresh install, I was having no issues. The main issue I am having is if I switch the input from the PS5 to the shield, HDR keeps staying on for some reason. The menu is over exposed, the image is obviously too bright. The only way I can get the HDR off is if I power on the PS5 again, change the receiver input to the ps5, turn off the PS5, and then change the input back (and it doesn't always work, takes multiple tries).

Just restarting the receiver does nothing, just restarting the shield does nothing.

The last issue I am having is with the shield screen saver. It used to be that if I was watching a video in kodi and it was paused, the screen saver would pop up eventually on the timer. When I press a button on the remote, the screen saver would turn off and I would carry on with the video.

Now, if I press a button to close the screen saver, it just brings me back to the start page in kodi. I can not for the life of me find a setting that would leave the video running in the backround.

I have a Tivo Stream 4K (android 9) and Verizon Stream (2020) box (android 10)- both of which I notice output a constant dolby encoded 5.1 stream to my receiver (Sony STR-DN1080). This is great for most content - however, for YouTube (not YouTube TV), plain youtube streaming, stereo content is output with 5.1 encoding, and my receiver doesn't let me use Pro Logic to simulate surround.

In the past, my Fire TV sticks have switched to PCM 2.0 output automatically when watching youtube, and back to Dolby when it matches the content. Is there any setting that can emulate this behavior, so I can get stereo only from youtube?

Sidenote: the playback speed controls are no where to be found on either of the two android tvs, which is quite frustrating.

I just got a 5.1.2 soundbar system that supports Dolby Atmos. I’ve already confirmed it just works on Netflix. When I try to play content on Disney+ that says it has Atmos available in the details, I still only get Dolby Digital Plus 5.1. Does Disney just not support Atmos for Android? The app is 2.5.1-rc1.

I have Fire TV Cube. It's a good device. Fast. Silent. Lots of streaming content.

However, the stock launcher is a nightmare. It's messy and overstimulating. I have been using the Wolf launcher for a while, which has been perfect, but Amazon have now completely blocked it.

I'm now looking for a different streaming device that supports custom launchers, Kodi and all the other main streaming services, is fast & fanless/silent.

Any suggestions? Thanks! 😄

I thought about MI Box 4k S but I couldn't find an option to upload movies directly to the box. Raspberry was good but some movies were choppy and framerate dropped.

What is the best free key remapping app for Android TV? I tried KeyMapper but I’m unable to navigate the app using the tv remote. It looks like it’s not fully compatible with Android TV. Are there any other free ones to try?

I keep having an issue where the home button on my remote for my Google TV Chromecast stops working and I have to use the back button repeatedly to leave an app.

Does anyone else have or heard of this issue?

I have a mi box S 4k and I'm having trouble transmitting sound to two bluetooth devices simultaneously.

Is this possible on android tv?

I tried to leave a wired aux device and another connected to bluetooth, but in this case the aux stopped working. I changed the mi stick on the mi box hoping it would work.

Note I can only wired one device.

Both devices are speakers.

I just got a TCL S546 and I cannot find in the setting how to calibrate the screen size. The only option I see is aspect ratio. Through my Roku Ultra I was watching a show in Crunchyroll but the video is somehow zoomed in a bit where I can only see halfway of the timestamp whenever I’m rewinding the video. How do I fix this? Is there an app that I can download to actually calibrate the screensize?

I recently got myself a Google TV, and I have a smal issue that I wish is only a setting. But when I cast for example youtube from my phone to the chromecast while the tv is of. It only turns on the tv and leave it on the homescreen. In order to get it to play I have to cast again to make it open youtube. I really want this issue fixed because I have a google nest, and when I say "Hey google, start spotify". I want it to start the tv and then just open and play spotify. Not just start the TV. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had the version without malware, but it stopped functioning as it doesn't accept codes anymore and am looking for the better and safer options thanks.

So I know you can flash android tv updates to an android tv box, but I was wondering if this was possible for a standard android tv? I have a 55” sharp android tv but I was wondering if there’s a way to update it to either android 10, 11 or even 12.
