Fire TV alternative? Tired of Amazon's launcher & them blocking custom launchers.

I have Fire TV Cube. It's a good device. Fast. Silent. Lots of streaming content.

However, the stock launcher is a nightmare. It's messy and overstimulating. I have been using the Wolf launcher for a while, which has been perfect, but Amazon have now completely blocked it.

I'm now looking for a different streaming device that supports custom launchers, Kodi and all the other main streaming services, is fast & fanless/silent.

Any suggestions? Thanks! 😄

I feel ya. I had a Firestick 4k for years but finally dumped it 2 weeks ago for a Walmart ONN 4K box and I love the thing. It's a great cheap and very moddable device but it's only sold in the US. You might be able to find it on ebay for a higher price but I'd say it's worth it.

Walmart onn UHD box. Only 20 bucks and you can use the fire tv remote with it. just make sure it’s programmed to your tv already. Need a fire tv device for that. And you can connect it’s remote to the onn box if you really want the same remote. You may prefer cuz the onn box remote doesn’t have play/pause, rewind, and fast forward buttons.
