Okay, so it's 2020. The Nvidia Shield Pro is nowhere to be found, forums are exploding with complaints about the Nvidia Shield TV (Tube) and I want to Upgrade my Roku Stick (3600x 2016 model) and Steam Link into one Android TV Product.

Is it worth spending $150 on the Shield or should I just get a Mi Box S and save the money? Right now, my only requirements are streaming Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Plex, VRV, CrunchyRoll, Disney+ and YouTube (Not TV) and the Steam Link app. I don't do LiveTV and other than steaming via Steam Link don't really plan on gaming directly.

I already have a dedicated Plex Server so there is no reason to wait on the Shield Pro to come back although if I could find one, I'd buy that instead. I just don't want to spend $150 on something I'd regret.

Oh and one last thing, I don't currently have a 4K TV. I don't plan on buying one either, unless my 1080 craps out on me. So that is not really a concern.

I don't have miracast in my android tv, so I cast videos from the Web via DLNA, I use QuickCast on my android and I haven't found any problem, however I am currently missing a desktop alternative for it, I have tried vGet for chrome, but is not always working, suggest me something better please

before i go ahead and purchase a mi box s. i would like to know if i connect a usb soundbar to a mi box will it be able to output the sound through the soundbar. i need it for a project and this usb soundbar is perfect size for fitment. only downside is it is only has a usb connection.

I've got an aged nexus player (no network port, no ADB over WiFi) and I've been playing with an x96air but can't get Netflix to work on any ATV custom ROM (ATV version). It needs to be androidTV for ease of use for the family.

Since I'm not familiar with this stuff (never used one before, not even my family member has one), I want to ask if I can install VPN for Android TV. So tl;dr I use a 64gb usb flash drive to play content from my MiBox S and yesterday after the update, my USB stopped being detected. So I tried using it on my computerS and I haven't managed to detect the drive anywhere. Has anyone had this happen before?

I m using a 4k TV and every time this box wakes up from standby mode it changes its resolution from 4k60 to 480p(1080p before OTA) then I have to turn it back to 4k manually. Is it just me facing this problem? P.s that auto setting doesn't work
