Hi,
I have a 94 year old grandmother, who's hard to hearing, that I'm trying to teach how to use Netflix. I thought the best way to do this was to get her a Amazon Fire TV cube but the process of trying to explain to her how to navigate AV channels / HDMI inputs, and how to use the UI is extremely painful. I love her dearly but she can barely use any piece of technology and this whole process has required Buddha levels of time and patience. She couldn't figure out how to change the channel for the entirety of yesterday and didn't tell me until I phoned to check in.
I was thinking of getting this for her: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-BRAVIA-KD43XG81-43-inch-Android/dp/B07P8W43C8/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=sony%2Bandroid%2Btv&qid=1589427597&sr=8-3&th=1
If I were to get an android TV, can it navigate 'normal' TV channels with voice commands (e.g "okay google, go to channel 1 / BBC 1")? Or is it just locked to apps?
Thanks.
From https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/128314303:
Android has been lacking support for Rumble in controllers. Wired, BT, and other wireless controllers have no way to use Rumble at all. Game dev's have created a pseudo-workaround when playing directly on a phone by using the haptic/vibration to generate a "rumble".
With more people using Android devices for gaming, this feature is necessary, especially for entertainment centers based around Android TV. People are using Android TV devices, such as the Nvidia Shield, but are missing out on Rumble when playing any of the Android games available. This leaves it behind devices such as the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, which all sport rumble as standard in games.

Hi all,
I've recently buy this android box : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07GP2N7LC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This model is amazing compared to multiple other that i'v tried in the past. I just have a little issue. My TV supports 4k60hz resolution. I can set this resolution manually in the screen settings but when I shutdown the the and power it again it automatically switch to 1080p60hz. Which is pretty annoying as I need to manually change the video output quality everyday. The settings to auto switch to best resolution is greyed out. Does anyone have any idea how can I enable it ? Or how can I permanatly fix the display mode to 4k60hz ?
