I need to change the batteries in my Philips Android TV (55OLED854) remote control every 2-3 months.
Have you experienced the same issue?

Kinda, with my 803 though
Are you sure the batteries ran out? My Philips controller is constantly not working. It just stops working vfir some time. Sometimes removing and reinserting the batteries dies the trick (some kind of reset I guess)
Just setup my Phillips Android TV mid March and mine seem to have gone dead this weekend. I was thinking there was no way since it had only been 2 months. Guess I was wrong.
It depends on your use I think. Is a bt remote? Do you use often the mic button?
My OLED804 is now 7 months old. Since 2 or 3 month it keeps complaining that the batteries are almost empty. But in fact they still work.
Does anyone know how to turn off that message? I prefer the oldschool way. As soon as my remote stops working I'll be glad to replace the batteries.
Any feedback is appreciated Cheers
Just to add to this, same here (55PUS7304). On a sony site I read that using the bluetooth functions (HOME, voice, etc) uses bluetooth and thus drains more. Things like switching channels and changing volume does less...
I started getting the messages again, but checking the battery level it's still at 92% according to the android tv settings. Can't believe it would neeed to start complaining about it already. Checking with a multimeter or battery meter also shows they're still full.
Hella annoying, if anyone found a way to turn of the messages I'd love to hear...
