I have two USB sticks, both of which are SanDisk, 128GB both formatted to NTFS.
The SanDisk USB Ultra Fit 3.0 works perfectly in android TV, but my SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.0 is not recognised by AndroidTV, but it works in my laptop.
Any reason why my second USB stick doesn't work in android TV? I wanted to use the extreme pro as it's faster, do I need to use software to reformat it? If so which will work?
Any recommendations on a USB stick that will work?, I thought anything up to 4TB would work.
Check out the SanDisk Extreme Pro USB drive - it's actually a little solid state drive in flash drive form factor.

This means it has really good write speeds in addition to reads, and doesn't wear down as quickly as normal USB drives. It's what I'm using on my Shield TV Pro and love it!
Edit: just actually read your entire post and see you already have an Extreme Pro! I'm guessing you need to reformat it as ExFAT or something else?
