I have two headphones and bluetooth speakers connected to my tv but I'm unable to find a way switch between them the same way there is media ouyput select like on an android powered smartphone. Am I blind or is it not implemented?

Hey guys. When watching Hulu on my Mi Box S every few minute the screen will freeze. The media continues playing, you can still hear the audio, but the picture freezes for about 15-20 seconds and then refreshed back to where it should be. It's very distracting cause it always seems to happen right when something good is happening during a show!

I have tried: Uninstalling Hulu Factory Reset Mi Box S Clear Hulu Cache & Data Rebooting Mi Box S

It doesn't seem to happen in Netflix and Disney+ because I mainly watch Hulu but I can report back. I know streaming local content via VLC I have no freezing picture issues.

So i recently bought android tv box and I am little disapointed. Yes, there is ton of apps and I can even sideload all android apps but I can't even appreciate it. What i need on my tv is Youtube, Netflix, Twitch and some local network browser (i also used web video caster for other web streamings). All these things were fulfilled by my older samsung television. Android tv makes it little better but i feel like i expected more. Android TV system for me feels like very truncated and simplified version of Android and i actually expected it to be richer. Can you guys tell me some of things that you love on Android TV compared to systems for example from LG or Samsung?

Hey guys so I recently got the HTZ9F and I was setting it up yesterday . I have the hdmi that comes with the set hooked up correctly . It is turned on and when I do the testing in the HTZ9F set up settings to see if they all are working it plays the audio for the sound bar , subwoofer, and the two rear speakers I purchased separately .

For some reason the system is not connecting properly to my tv. I changed the audio in settings to tv speakers to surround sound . With the new update to X900F alot of settings is now gone. When I raise the volume on my regular tv controller it doesn’t show the volume raise on sound bar . Just shows raising from tv internally. And when I raise volume on HTZ9F controller it shows it raising on the sound bar. There seems to be a complete disconnect here and not sure what settings I need to apply or what I’m doing wrong that the HTZ9F isn’t connecting and playing with the tv. Please help if anyone can much appreciated !

So I got two Android TV in my home. The first one is Coocaa, it was intended for experience test only, but Apparatus, we (my family) have a good time on it, so we bought another one from Changhong. One thing I noticed is my Coocaa's TV is a SWTV, and my Changhong's TV is an AI PONT. What's the difference between the two? Are there another type of Android TV beside SWTV and AI PONT?

I just bought a Philips 65PFL5604 that has Android TV built in. Is there any reason why I can't plug a webcam into it's USB port, download the zoom .apk and have an almost out-of-the box teleconference device? Mine doesn't seem to recognize my webcam and zoom says it's not available in the play store. Thanks in advance!

The wwe site says to install on sony tvs with android tv, you simply search it in the google play store. But it shows no results when I type it in (with various iterations of the search). Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

I have the Chromecast with Google TV. There's a menu for selecting which streaming services you have so that they can be used for recommendations. The selections I make don't seem to be used. I don't have Disney+ or HBO Max, but I see recommendations from those services anyway. Is this a known bug, or just me?

Hi, i got a Firestick and it's about to break. And i thought about this time buying a AndroidTV Box. But i have to buy it over a catalog website here in germany, financial reasons. And because i dont have money for a nvidea shield or formuler. So i saw these two on the catalog site: Xiaomi Mi Box S and the HiMedia Streaming-Box S500. But i dont know which one is better. I need your knowledge so that i can get one.

I dont want to flash it or else. I just want to install apps like kodi and other tv stuff. If i can play on it, i dont know if i would use it.

Hi my family just got a android tv installed yesterday and i wanted to use youtube but it's linked to my dads yt account and i only could find a sign out button instead of a swap accounts. is there anyway you can quickly swap yt accounts on the tv?

TCL's Android TV (55S434) comes with a default TCL TV app installed. It sucks in my opinion for a variety of reasons, one of which is that the TV EPG is buried in the default Android TV menu (you have to bring up the Android TV OS menu, go two options deep just to get an option called "EPG" and click it to display it). Also TCL's default app does NOT allow you to add other streaming sources to the EPG like Pluto TV, Xumo, etc. and I'd like to use the categories of the Android TV "Live TV" app to see ALL movies or ALL sports, etc. across Live TV and Streaming Sources.

So long story short, I have installed through the Google Play Store the "Live TV" app. However, it only PARTIALLY works.

Problems:

1. The EPG never fills in the OTA channel info.
2. The "Live TV" app does load and track correctly the Pluto TV channels but always shows Xumo as "not setup" even after selecting it as a channel source and it saying it loads 170+ channels or whatever.
3. Whenever I turn the TV on first and load the Android TV "Live TV" app TCL hijacks the selection and loads the default TCL crappy "TV" app. Meaning even if I click the blue Android TV "Live TV" app, it loads the red TCL TV app.

I don't see a way to uninstall the red TCL "TV" app.

If I did uninstall it, will the default Android TV "Live TV" app start working properly (full EPG including live OTA channels, Pluto TV and Xumo and other sources being included?)

If there are other better solutions, I'd love to hear them.

(EDIT: It's not a Roku TV so doesn't have anything to do with TCL's Roku UI.)

I recently purchased the TV above from Best Buy and it works pretty well and I like the Android TV OS except for a few things.

One of the things is an apparent audio delay when using ARC (and outside soundbars, receivers, etc.)

I have a Yamaha Receiver that has an HDMI connection through the wall in my house (I wired it when the home was being built) to my...

TCL 55S434 Android TV....in HDMI 1 so that same HDMI can use the ARC channel.

I also have a Roku Premier connected directly to the TV to HDMI 2.

Why have both?

Because Android TV doesn't have Apple TV+ and the Roku does (Ted Lasso anyone?)

Also, I can't connect the Roku Premier through my Yamaha receiver because it ONLY supports HDMI 1.4 so I can't get 4K Video (that the Roku supports) to passthrough the receiver.

So to get 4K AppleTV+ I must connect the Roku Premier directly to the TCL TV via the HDMI 2 port. I can't use an HDMI splitter to send the video to the TV and the audio to the Yamaha receiver because there is only ONE HDMI cable to connect the TV to the Yamaha receiver.

So, I have HDMI 1 connected to the Yamaha Receiver.

Roku Premier connected to HDMI 2.

But here's the problem...

Any apps (AppleTV+, Disney, Netflix, Amazon Prime) that I stream on the Roku Premier, through HDMI 2, that then "Passes through" the audio BACK through the HDMI 1 ARC channel to the Yamaha Receiver, is DELAYED by a half a sec or so. The video is ahead of the audio by half a sec.

In the Android TV settings for Audio I have options for Passthrough, PCM, Auto and Off.

PCM only passes through Stereo through the HDMI but it DOES have an audio delay adjustment bar that can go positive and negative.

BUT Passthrough and Auto do NOT have the auto delay adjustment bar when they are selected.

Also running an optical cable from the TV to the Receiver isn't an option (again there's a wall between the TV and receiver).

OTA TV audio is FINE through the ARC channel to the Receiver.

Android TV apps using the TV are for the most part fine/in sync (very, very minor delay).

But any audio passed INTO the TV that is then processed by the TV or the Android TV when piped back out through ARC, is delayed a half a sec.

Anyone know of any solutions?

I'm using an app that requires login. When I click the login box, there's no keyboard appearing. My remote controller doesn't have numbers and letters, but I need to insert my login info. Any way to force a keyboard to show up?

I have a laptop running windows 10. The Tv is a Mi Tv 4a Pro. Earlier it used to cast seamlessly. But after I installed the software update on the TV (currently running 9 and no further updates to show), my laptop is unable to detect the TV. Casting from phone works fine. It has chromecast built in and also has miracast (although miracast disconnects the Tv from the wifi idk why). Any help would be appreciated. Also if there’s a way to mirror an iPad Air 3, kindly drop in some how to link or steps.

Has this issue been resolved somehow? I have tried to sideload chrome web browser when connected, but it doesn't redirect me and says the dns can't be reached(can't recall exactly the message but I'm at work atm). Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe if I log in before hand on my phone's hotspot and login to xfinity and then switch networks but I doubt it will work.

1. I downloaded Mullvad VPN through the Downloader app. Installed it and it's working. However, it is not showing up on the app list. So to open the app, I had to install it again through Installer. Why isn't it showing up on the app list?

2. I'm live in Europe, is there a way to download HBO max to the TV? (Preferably so that it updates to the latest updates automatically if it's possible)
