All for getting more doggles out there. The user interface, especially the Search/ watchlist function is a different way of consuming streaming tv. It's movie/tv show centeric NOT app centeric. Home screen deep-links to what your watching (once you add it to the watchlist). You may never again click the Netflix or hulu app icon directly to start watching a favorite series. When your show ends, you can either back out to the main menus of your subscription service or jump back to home screen. Love the software so much I've replaced the Android tv interface of another device with LauncherX, the google tv interface the chromecast sports. This makes so much sense, youtube live is one of the few services totally integrated into a program grid guide, so you can see what's on live tv. The total package is just too steep for my cheap ass, so the functionality of the tv guide is something I really miss. I really need a cheap way to get my antenna channels into the chromecast. Even though I don't subscribe to youtube live, I get one free channel of continueous movie traliers with easy links to purchase from the Google play store. Ha
Been a customer since Feb 2018 but paused for 1 month after the increase to $65... so apparently not eligible.
I paused for 6 months during that period. $50 x 6 = $300. Even if I bought one Chromecast with Google TV, I am still up ~240. Not going to be too upset about this one.
Well that sucks. My first invoice shows July 1, 2018. No email.
I'm an existing customer and I've received NOTHING in my inbox!
And I cancelled it.
