I just bought a Philips 65PFL5604 that has Android TV built in. Is there any reason why I can't plug a webcam into it's USB port, download the zoom .apk and have an almost out-of-the box teleconference device? Mine doesn't seem to recognize my webcam and zoom says it's not available in the play store. Thanks in advance!
Make sure your TV is on Android 9 or higher.
Make sure the webcam is UVC (Universal Video Class) compliant otherwise it won't work.
Zoom is NOT available for Android TV, however, you can sideload the app but you'll need a mouse to move around the interface, app functionality is also NOT guarantee to work as expected since it's an unsupported app.
