I have my main google account setup as the 'main user' for the whole TV. My girlfriend just wants to sign in to her youtube account. Every time we go to "Manage Account -> Add Another Account", nothing works. Can't sign in to youtube and the only option when her account is highlighted is 'remove account'. Is this a bug? Am I missing something? This is insanely frustrating.

Currently I use Firefox to watch crunchyroll and other streaming services that has ads and ublock works great to remove those ads. But using a browser to watch is not convenient all the time.

I was wondering what's the difference between them, and can they atleast smoothly play AV1 video? 10% of my library uses AV1 and the Apple TV can smoothly play them even they are not hardware accelerated. So if they can that's a big plus.

I'm currently using Apple TV 4K 2nd Gen, and just wanna try out the NVIDIA Shield experience.

This pisses me off lol. I went to settings already and turned the LED Indicator off, but this only turns the LED standby light off when my TV is powered off. I use the audio only option often to go to bed, and even with the LED indicator selected as off, that stupid little light comes back on. Is there ANY way to turn that light off at all times? I might just tape it with electrical tape at this point.. Excuse any errors, I'm on mobile and woke up to that dumb little light.

I am simply trying to find out what occurs to the Onn Box after unlock of the bootloader and root.

I found two old conflicting comments in the sub that make it sound like the box stays Level 1 after unlock/root or loses it and is Level 3.

Does anyone know for sure what actually occurs?

What would be the best Android TV box, my budget is somewhat flexible, but I don't want to pay $200 for nVidia Shield Pro.

I will connect it to LG CX, so 4k and HDR, Dolby Vision, and Atmos are a must.

Just enabled CEC control so the Chromecast can turn the TV on and off, because IR was getting annoying. But it only works for turning off. When the TV is off and i press the power button on the CC remote, nothing happens, same for input or any of the buttons.

Is this normal or should the CC be able to turn the TV on as well as off via CEC?

Hi while I was testing some 4k content on my 4k andoird tv while using YouTube I notice it stutters on certain 4k videos anyone else has that issue? Suggestions are welcome. Also should I just get a external android TV box? Like a nividia shield or roku?

Because this is the only solid reason I have had as the conclusion of why some 4K web-dl movies stutters and gets pixelated.

Because I do know I have watched a 4K web-dl SDR with 24,6 Mb/s bitrate, and I thought that maybe that movie file worked flawlessly just because the profile format was higher, so it could handle a higher bitrate but at the same time work fine.

I also wanna note that these movies I am talking about have been played directly from a external HDD, but I have now switched to a new external SSD (which is much faster). The same thing with bitrate and everything I wrote goes with the SSD.

But then I wonder, why did a 4K HDR web-dl movie with these specs work directly from my slower HDD?:

I'm so sick of trying to get the YouTube app to work for my needs. It is almost comically bad with suggestions, recommending something I watched literally 10 minutes before or stuff that is completely unrelated to what I'm watching (like yes I looked up a recipe one time, I don't want to watch that all the time now!) Plus the UI is not built for playlists at all. If you want to scroll through a Playlist, it always starts at the beginning. If you want to search, it takes you out of the video.
