I have my main google account setup as the 'main user' for the whole TV. My girlfriend just wants to sign in to her youtube account. Every time we go to "Manage Account -> Add Another Account", nothing works. Can't sign in to youtube and the only option when her account is highlighted is 'remove account'. Is this a bug? Am I missing something? This is insanely frustrating.

My problem is I have one google account for YouTube premium and a separate for YouTube TV. I have no option to sign into a different account for YouTube tv. I see the same thing you described. So frustrating!!
just got a a80j same issue. i can have multiple youtube accounts on my 2017 nvidia shield. strange
There's a new Google tv update rolling out that will enable profiles. Your gf will be able to create a profile and automatically sign in to her YouTube app. I don't know how long or if the Sony tv will get the new profile update but that currently the only way to have multiple log ins.
