Has anyone had issues watching videos on Amazon Prime while having Bluetooth headphones connected to your TV?

I have a Hisense H9F that recently just got the update that added the prime app and for whatever reason it won't play any titles while they are connected. The app gives me the "oops, something went wrong, try again later". As soon as I disconnect the headphones, the video will play.

Only reason I figured out that was the issue is I read a post on the amazon forums where someone with a Sony running Android TV had the same issue with Bluetooth (with no answers).

Only workaround I've found, other than not wearing headphones, is casting to the TV from the prime app on my phone.

Hello, I have manually updated to android pie, selected English, all good, after some apps got updated, I tried prime (it works), and then language changed to Korean, I managed to get to the language setting, and changed it to English, nothing happens, English is selected but all remains in Korean, if I return to the language menu, Korean is selected again automatically, any ideas? thanks!

(I already did a factory reset twice and it happens again)

Hi! I was testing the Android 9 beta for Mi Box S, and I noticed some sync audio problems with the Prime Video app (audio first, then images). Has anyone else have the same thing?

I know it's kind of too late ask, but all information I could find was a really old reddit post referring to Mi Box 3 Marshmallow.

And I know it's working well with Shield TV and Bravia as voice-input device, but how about with Mi Box S Oreo(or Pie) ?

I just got my Shield TV this morning. It's all up to date but for some reason prime video is refusing to start up.

Every launch it said there was an internet connectivity problem and no reboot or reinstall of the app is fixing it.

Anyone else having the same?

Hello. I installed Android Pie on my Mibox S to be able to have Amazon in HDR but it does not work. The 4k yes, the HDR is displayed but does not activate on my TV. Someone would have a solution? Thank you PS : Sorry for my english

New to Android TV but not to PC building/tech. I love my Fire Pendant but was looking at Android TV boxes and couldn't help but wonder if it's possible to build your own out of a mini ITX case.

Are there any ways of getting anything in a smaller form factor like the Mi Box or Shield?

Ideally I'd like my own design for an Android TV with the option to load in my own theme on a home screen.

Any improvements with respect to deinterlacing on the Pie beta for Mi Box S, or will Amlogic/Xiaomi never fix it??

I subscribed to Hulu live over a year ago (when shield didn't have live) and ended membership because it just didn't work with the shield.

I currently subscribe to Vue, but need to switch, I wondered which service you recommended for the shield TV. I tried the $20 one but the picture quality is terrible and no locals.

I've looked around and haven't gotten a clear answer. I want to buy a Xiamoi Mi Box S and plug in my 2TB HDD to play videos locally. Have those issues been fixed?

1. It's slow, loading icon takes a while to spin
2. Why does the app still have Yellow, Green and Purple screen buttons?
3. Can't go back after visiting settings, pressing the back on my remote asks me to quit app.
4. Can't add or customize the app as a channel like Netflix and the others on the home screen. So far you can only add it as a favorite.
5. Sometimes video plays with no sound when you resume.

It feels like the numerous incompatible apks around, any info.

Good morning. I've seen that many users have a Mi Box S, so I'd need help because I'm new in this world.

In the same room I have the Mi Box, the modem and the PC. I have shared my "Movie" folder on my pc on my home network, and I wanted to use the Mi box to see these movies on my projector. Sadly, the movie viewing it's not optimal, as the movie often stutters, slow down etc.

When I see a video on Youtube directly from the Mi box, everything is fine, the video is perfectly fluid, even the most dynamic. The only problem I see is when I play a movie from the shared folder on my pc.

What could be the possible causes? I have a 100 mbit/s connection, a Fritz Box 7530 as a modem, and as I said, everything is in the same room.
