I have a Sony Bravia 900e. I’m streaming movies on cinema HD app but it’s buffering and impossible to stream 4K or even 1080 at times. Would I benefit from getting a 4K fire stick? I have BT fibre internet.

I see for the first time an ad for a Paramount Plus show (Behind the Music), but it still won't show the streamer as an option for Picard or Discovery. So maybe a slow integration? Am I correct in thinking that even a promotion on the main screen by them is news?

Can't find any information about this package. What is this? Because after few days the package uses all available RAM on TV, which causes whole TV lags and other apps killing. I have few megabytes of ram left and zero swap.

The only way to make TV work normal is hard restart it.

i got a smart tv as a gift

the company is sony but it honestly feels like a chinese tv

the android version is 5.1.1

its not updating on its own after i press on network update and i don't know where to download manual update

also its only connecting to 2.4ghz wifi instead of 5ghz

I don't know if I'm just dumb and can't figure it out but I've spent so long trying.

Basically I want to be able to access the storage on my phone from my tv, as to be able to transfer video files trought my usb to usb type c cable, however nothing seems to work.

I've tried a myriad of file manager apps, went trough every setting menu, tried accessing to tv storage trough my phone but I still didn't find a way to do it.

I reiterate that I do not want to transfer files over wirelessly as mine is pretty slow and it sometimes fails halfway trought uploading a 2gb file.

Is it possible? And if so how do I do it?

I have a wifi led strip that is plugged into my tv, but the USB power turns on and off with the tvs blinking light. Is there a way to have constant power to the led strip while the TV is in sleep mode?

Hey guys, so i think the title is pretty much self explanatory, since i'm coming from Mi BoX S, i'm looking for a streaming device which has slightly better hardware, latest OS & security patches, and those extra features such as Dolby Vision, Atmos, HDR10+. I only use streaming services, no games.

I bought a TV dongle today (Telekom Magenta TV Stick) that runs Android TV and so far I'm loving it.

It plugs into my TV (Hisense 43AE7010F) via HDMI.
I'm using an optical audio cable that goes from the TV to my SMSL 793II headphone DAC/AMP for when I want to use headphones instead of the TV speakers.

However I can't adjust the volume for that optical output through my TV and the Android volume selector doesn't go low enough for comfortable listening even if I turn the DAC/AMP as far down as I can without causing channel imbalance (about 1/5 volume).

I have a similar problem on PC but for that I simply use the program 'Equalizer APO' to apply a -20 dB volume reduction for the output.

Is there a similar app available for Android TV that allows me to do this?
