I was wondering if there was a patch to the freezing issue I've seen in reviews for the Walmart Onn box? I am seriously considering getting one given the exfat/ntfs support missing all too often in android tv devices. But stability is also important.
Odd thing about this issue, I have two of them and saw maybe one freeze / lock up a day the first week or so I had them. For the past two weeks of pretty heavy use I’ve only had one box freeze once. No firmware update for the box itself. Possibly it has been mitigated a little by app updates or a Google Play Service update.
I read reviews of that. On the first couple of days the remote would freeze. But not Onn itself. I have never had Onn freeze up on me. Even the remote is working fine now after the first couple of days.
Is there any custom roms for this device yet like LineageOS?
It's still getting freezes, no updates yet.
