I would just go for the 2019 model.
Even the original shield is a great buy used.
Buy 2019 model, new model is low probable (Tegra X1 "upgrade" is "based" on Nintendo switch need)
It would be expected to arrive late fall this year, but we live in a different world now so only Nvidia knows and they don't appear to be talking.
