Where can I find BT / 2.4G controller that compatible with all game clouds for android ?

The android tv app, Sun Player, looks virtually identical to vlc.

The australian outfit that puts it out (nasai) seems to be surrounded in murkiness.

Has anyone been using Sun Player for a while and noticed anything fishy about it?

Anyone know how to get this on TivoStream4k? I have it on Roku, my iPad and my android phones but can't get it on Android TV?

I'll side load if I can get a good APK that will work. one I got from APK Downloader made screen sideways and blew up.

Can't get Tivostream 4k Weather channel app working after Android 10 upgrade.

Pulled a spare stick I had out that is still on 9. It isn't working either. Factory the spare stick (on 9) and started over. It isn't getting an update ? must have been pulled? and Still can't get weather channel to open. Disabled Location, enabled location, Edited options on the app to allow location etc. no joy. worked 1 time on Android 10 and then it crashes after. Anyone have any ideas?

New to Android/TCL SQUAD. I have installed Nova Video player on my TCL R646, but having two issues, wondering if you can asisst:

1. I oftenly use BT Soundcore Q30 wireless headphones, audio in Nova is so dull and weak while watching 4K Dolby Atmos contents, unless I use boost audio option which destroys the encoded sound quality, same movie when I play in default TCL media player in same environment, it works flawlessly but I dont like default media player. Any idea why sound quality is not being picked up?
2. If I change video settings in TCL R646 while playing let say SDR DV contents, it does apply to all contents, rather it should be to that content specific, whatever settings I apply, they being applied to all contents. It doesn't happen in Netflix though, for each diff content netflix auto picks my custom calibrations, but the Nova player not.

My grandparents have a Hisense Android TV and use Hulu Live TV but would much prefer to be able to turn the TV on and have their last watched app resume, I.e. Hulu Live TV watching the news. Acting as if it never ceased playback with the display off, like a cable box. Any way to accomplish this?

I'm seeing a lot of people mention the most 2 recent updates. Does anyone know when they'll be available to everyone? I'm on Android 9 and if I check for an update it says "your system is up to date". I've tried restarting etc just to make sure it wasn't that. Thanks in advance.

Is there an Android TV app (I'm using the Nvidia Shield 2019) which will allow me to quickly change DNS settings? It is very tedious to type it in every time I want to change it

I have a 1080p "dumb" TV, I mostly need to a media streamer for Netflix and Youtube. After so much research I am getting either the Fire Stick TV Lite, or the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick. But I am still hesitant on deciding on one of them. Now, before you say "neither, get the Chromecast with Google TV", that would've been my first choice but I'm on a budget so it'll have to be between the other two.

From what I've seen, I don't really like the user interface of the Fire Stick, it mostly promotes Amazon's streaming service which I do not use. I really much prefer the android interface that the Mi Stick offers, since it focuses on apps more than content, and it uses the Google Playstore which means more apps than the Fire Os store, also the Google Assistant on the remote which is more compatible with my android phone. And the Mi Stick comes with built-in Chromecast which could be useful and overall it seems like the closest thing there is to the Google TV. So that should be the obvious choice, right? Yet most reviews I've seen online have been discouraging of the Mi Stick, I think for a lot of people it is laggier and causes crashing and overheating. The Fire stick seems to have a better performance overall, but I still dislike its amazon focused interface, and the Lite version remote control doesn't have a power button or volume buttons, which is kind of an inconvenience having to switch remotes any time I need to lower or raise the volume.

If you've used any of those sticks, I'd really appreciate your experience with it, and any issues you might've had. I literally cannot seem to decide which one I want on my own, I'm more inclined towards android based Mi Stick but I don't want to risk a laggy experience, so I'm considering the Fire Stick Lite.

I'm looking for an Alternative to Kodi for Android TV.

Please note that I want to play local videos, not interested in any software that requires a server. Please do not suggest any software that requires a server to host the media.

As the title says, was on holiday 2 using a fire stick and Google dragged my TV off this to the Google movies app just to force me to watch ads about some spider man movie or something. Any way to stop this happening at all?

I recently received an android tv and tried to connect my dualshock 4 controller to it. It pairs fine. But after pairing it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t let me control the home screen or any games. Anyone have a fix?

If my TV is off and you press the YouTube or Netflix button on the remote, it will power on the TV and launch the app. How can I disable this so that only the power button controls the power to the TV?

Usecase: I’ve remapped the YouTube button to YouTube Kids but when used to power on the TV it sometimes still launches the original YouTube app - I’d rather have the kids turn on the tv and then press YouTube as I’ve had no issues with the remapping once the tv is already on.

Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this. After a software update, I think last week, I can't fully scroll down on the channel guide. It goes up fine, but it gets stuck going down. Reboot didn't help.

Exist an app for android tv to auto clear cache by interval ?

Just got my first android tv box (onn walmart) and was wondering if there's a list of popular aps people like? I have tubi and pluto-tv and like them but is there any other ones that people really enjoy for movies, news etc? I really like hunting and outdoor channels as well. Second question. I was looking at some iptv stuff and found a pubic list mentioned elsewhere on github. The m3u file has porn in it and I don't want that trash in my house, is there a way to remove that shit?

I set up my tivo stream 4k today... But I repurposed the remote already for a different project I'm working on... I am able to control through cec but I was hoping to be able to control with my phone using the Android TV remote that's built into the Google TV app... But it doesn't seem to see the tivo.... Anyone have any luck with this?

My plan is to take the tivo with me when I travel so I have something to stream on in the hotel room, but the less things to throw in my bag, the better...

My Father asked me for advise about which TV suits most to use with his m3u list to watch 1080p or even 4k streams?

He just wants to have one remote and get rid of the second remote which is used.for the android tv boxes.

The issue is I dont want to advise a tv which should be around 1000$ as for his Budget with 75 inch screen which will be to weak to play high resolution content.

Do you have any advise? How can I know how powerful the computer of a TV really is?

I have been playing around with a Soniq S55UV16A-AU. I bought it without a remote from a second hand store, and discovered that a Kmart Anco universal remote would not connect no matter what code was used. Without the remote, I couldn't tune any channels, or use most of the 'smart' tv capabilities. I discovered yesterday that I could plug in a keyboard into the USB port and control what I discovered to be a 4.4.4 Kitkat Android OS.

The keys I have found are:

• Android Home: Fn + F3
• TV Menu: Ctrl + Esc or M
• Back: Esc
• Channel List: Enter
• Channel Info: I
• Channel Input: 0 - 9
• Volume: Fn + F10/11
• Mute: Fn + F9
• Search: Alt + Space
• Screenshot: Print Screen

Using this I was able to connect to wifi and scan tv channels.

At this point, I can't find the exact buttons to control the episode guide screen, I can't figure out how to get Alt + Tab to work properly and can't do +/- channel changing. The cinnavision servers are clearly dead too, so APKs would have to be transferred.
