As the title suggests, I can't use microphone in my Philips Android TV, because it doesn't work at all. I don't even have a Google Assistant button, but when I manually open it, my tv cannot hear anything both from my remote or the TV itself. If I use Assistant from Google Home app on my phone, it works.
I've tried looking for a solution anywhere online, but I didn't found anything.
This is my remote, apparently it's only used in few entry-level Android TV series (7406, 7506, 7906, 7956 - which are all the same Adnroid TVs with some minimal changes like Ambilight or other things), hence the lack of support.
You can see that it doesn't have any visible microphone holes, or a PAIR button to pair it to the TV via bluetooth (usually PAIR button is the same as SOURCES one), which also means I won't be able to buy another Philips remote and pair it to the TV. It doesn't even have an Assistant button - which actually makes sense, I mean, everything voice-related hasn't been added to the remote.
I've run out of ideas, can anyone help me please?
I wouldn't mind buying another remote if necessary - but I don't know if it will work.
Edit: official guide does not mention how to pair another remote, and about the microphone, it just says "If your remote does not have microphone, download "Android TV Remote Control" app from Play Store". That's not a specific app, I can find a lot of them with similar names. Using the official Philips Remote app instead does not work, I can't even pair it.
