Hello. I just purchased Mi Box S and except from being my main device for watching movies and TV series, i was thinking to use it as a downloading device. First of all I would like to tell you that I have read old posts in this subforum but I didn't understand if you are up against on using a torrent app with the box and download the TV series you are watching (I didn't understand if the box isn't supposed to be used as a downloading machine). Please advice if you think I shouldn't use it this way, and keep downloading to my external hard drive by using my pc.

If it's ok to downloading with the box, I have a problem with torrent apps and i would like you to tell me what to do.

I have installed both tTorrent and Flux and I can't start downloading a torrent. While using tTorrent I can't select the external hard drive. When I press the "/" button in menu in order to choose the external hard drive, a new popup menu appears in the screen requiring from me to press the "Grand Permission" button, but I can't navigate to it it by using the remote control. How can I do it?

Almost the same problem goes with Flux. In order to add a new torrent file to the app I must press the "+" button in the left bottom of the screen. I can navigate to every single button on the top bar of the app, but the "+" button is unreachable. How can I reach it? O.o

After installing a movie apk application file on android tv, the application is disappeared and not able to find to run the program to watch movies.

does some apk file not support installation on an android tv or need to follow any other way?

Got a JBL link bar this week from Best Buy for what seemed like a great deal: link bar + free wireless subwoofer for $199, shipped. Sound quality is good and the built-in AndroidTV seems fine, except there is no Amazon Prime app. (so i guess I can't abandon my old roku yet) Chromecasting works great, bluetooth is ok --I have had to pair every device twice before the audio becomes glitch-free.

Unfortunately, the link bar seems to be failing at a very simple task: keeping audio and video precisely synchronized. It seems to affect both apps playing on the link bar itself and played through it from other sources, like from the roku. (it's not wildly off-synch, but it is noticeable and annoying.) I can't seem to find any way to tweak this delay in the Android TV audio settings. Does anyone know if it is possible to do so? Is there maybe some 3rd-party hack to provide more control? I can't believe a name-brand sound bar has so few actual audio controls. Maybe I should be changing a setting in individual apps to reduce latency somehow?

Often the video and sound sync is delayed, this is happening with Prime and Mi Box 3, any idea about what's happening? Prime is updated with Aptoide TV.

Long story short, i had one of those chinese tv box(HTV3) that stop working. I know there are some paid apps that will let you watch chinese stuff for around $60 a year. I was looking into napper but it appear they just stop working in usa. I was told to look into flyingsharks but the tvpad forum i use to get info is pretty much dessert with not much update.

I have already download google drive onto the box and no idea if I keep the app on the box or put it on my TV. I'm interested in picking up a new Vizio TV but I've never been a fan of their software. Has anyone experienced any issues with using Shield/Android TV devices with their Vizio TV? Hoping all of the power on/CEC features of the Shield work as expected so I can just power the TV with the Shield remote and go straight into Android TV without having to go through Vizio's Smarcast screen first.

I've updated to the latest version of Chromecast Built In, updated my Google Home app, and rebooted both my phone and TV. However, I don't see my Hisense Andriod TV showing up to be added to my speaker group. Am I missing any steps? Anything else I can try? Are Hisense TVs just not compatible? Or is this a staged rollout kind of feature?
