I've updated to the latest version of Chromecast Built In, updated my Google Home app, and rebooted both my phone and TV. However, I don't see my Hisense Andriod TV showing up to be added to my speaker group. Am I missing any steps? Anything else I can try? Are Hisense TVs just not compatible? Or is this a staged rollout kind of feature?
I've never had a good experience with Hisense Tvs some of them have a weird operating system that's not really Android but looks like it. For cheap Tvs I use Xiaomi as they are stock Android or I just buy a dumb one and add a$50 streamer
Even with full Android I still don't like Hisense. They always have some sort of a problem and for another few Euros there are many choices
I have had problems with connectivity, screen burn and broken remote control units
If you search you can find more info about this my sound bar has CCA built in so I didn't pay full attention but it seems this feature has came and gone a couple of times.
If I'm not wrong speaker group was part of the latest beta but I think the latest stable is actually rolling out, I'm don't know the new version but if you go to the play store website and look for it, you'll see the release date is from today.
