I've seen a couple of threads with this issue, but I have yet to find a solution.
My TV keeps turning on by itself, and it always starts with Google Movies trailers. The only way I can go to this mode myself is to press the "TV"-button on the remote (Imagelink on bottom). It happens most during the night, and I think it only happens when I am near the TV, as if it has some sensor or something. The frequency varies. The other night it turned itself on 2-3 times in two hours. I removed remote batteries to see if the remote was faulty, but it happened again. I've factory reset the TV.
I know it has turned itself on the moment I've entered the room or sometimes passed the TV.
I've seen some forums suggesting some IR-blaster (?) from the phone could be the issue, but wouldn't it happen all the time if that was the issue? I'ev also tried literally dancing in front of the TV to see if there is some motion detection or anything, though that wouldn't make sense as it keeps turning on at night (When I'm not moving).
I have a USB-drive connected, but it does happen with and without it. No HDMI connected. Power unplugged multiple times Factory reseted Only one phone in the room (Galxy S9).
Anyone experienced anything similar?

Hello, I followed the instruction to install Google TV as described here: https://www.howtogeek.com/693761/how-to-get-the-google-tv-ui-on-android-tv-devices-right-now/
The problem is that whenever I go to actually install the APK’s on my Sony OLED it just gives me the message “App not installed”. Anyone have any idea? I did give the TV File Commander app permission to install files as described
I've recently bought a Motorola TV and I want to install Google TV on it. I've tried following this tutorial but my TV doesn't show the option for Network Debugging. I don't have a USB-A to USB-A cable, but I have a USB-C one through which I tried using adb. My TV still doesn't show up in the adb devices attached. What can I do now?
