Thoughts about TCL 55C715?

Hi.

I have a TCL 40S6500 already and I'm looking for an upgrade to a 4K TV. Most reviews I found about the C715 are paid reviews, so they only say good stuff about the TV and no cons...

I saw somewhere that when watching a 4K video on youtube, the TV doesn't change to 4K mode (like showing the resolution change on the corner) and Kodi reporting 1920x1080 on the resolution info.

Is this TV worth it?

All the app interfaces on Android TV run at 1080p resolution only and use 4K only for media playback. So kodi showing 1080p on interface is normal for any Android 4k TV.

I have a xiaomi miTv 55 4k and indeed kodi runs at 1920x1080 but youtube is 4k and streaming also 4K.

Even tho kodi shows 1080p i watch movies in 4K in there.

Might be the same for the TV
