To be fair I bought those games because I've read somewhere (here, I think) that they were available on android tv Playstore So I bought both on my playstore account, set my sister as family member so she could download it on her Xiaomi Tv Box... And then it just wasn't on the play store What can I do? Would it work if I just install the APK on her box? Even the online play?

This all happened within the last hour. Tried getting my son's netflix bedtime setup on his hisense tv and it kept closing, fired up the Mibox and it didn't go anywhere, watching Brightburn on the shield and it rebooted, went to bed and the same happened for YouTube.

Anyone else running into this?

This controller doesn't work on my Mibox or even phone. It works on my CCwGTV and Chromebook as well.

I didn't expect it to work. I thought it was an androidTV issue. Works well with Stadia though

I found out today that I have no storage left on my google chromecast. I don't store any files locally on the device and just have the standard set of apps (Hulu, HBO Max, Netflix, etc.) yet somehow I am out of storage. I checked in Android settings and none of the apps are taking more than ~100MB. I also downloaded Fx file explorer and it did not find any large files. I suspect some cache is not getting cleared and so I've run out of space. Is there any other option than to perform a full factory reset?

Recenlty got my new mi box s.
Tried to connect my dualshock 4 v2(CUH-ZCT2) to mi box. it holds on "connecting" message. the same with my Wireless earphones Philips (TAH4205).
I have seen problem with controller is, at least was quite popular a year ago. but didnt find any working solution. Has it been somehow fixed, or it still exists?

Hey, I have a Samsung h7100 65" 1080p tv from 2015 and dumping my older version of Roku 3 Ultra. I'm moving to Android tv because it's open-source & has better app support.

Best android tv devices are probably the Shield and Chromecast with Google tv. The big advantage Shield has is AI upscaling, but 1080p tv kills that advantage (afaik). Is there any reason for me to choose the much more expensive Shield over the Chromecast Google tv? There won't be any gaming - just streaming Netflix, hbo, sling, kodi, the usual suspects. I don't plan on upgrading the tv for a couple more years.

I'm leaning towards the Chromecast Google tv but thought I would ask for 2nd opinion. Thanks!

Nvidia does not officially import the Shield here so prices are exorbitant and there is no customer service and repairs.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to figure out how to watch IG live on my CCwGTV. I’m using my old LG G6 running Android 8.0. Seems I can’t share the screen to my Tv and share the audio to my LG soundbar (via BT) simultaneously. Is that a limitation of my phone’s Android version or is it just not possible?

I have heard that soundbars creates problems when connected to TCL C715

SO i have the tv set up working through the CEC, but if i want to cast something to the TV i still have to turn it on or wake up the box. Kinda defeats the purpose. if there was a way the chromecast was still discoverable when i cast something or ask google to play something on the TV is not discoverable.

I used to leave to turn the TV off manually and leave the box on. but in that state the box doesn't turn the TV on like it did when i used a chromecast.

Im having problems trying to watch a 4 hours 4k video on my TCL Android TV. Maybe the file is too big? (30gb).

Any Advice? split the file in two?

So i have 2 of these boxes and neither turns on the TV's. ive had a chromecast in both TV and can confirm the CEC is present. Is there something i can do to have the built in chromecast switch on the TV when i cast to it?

Hi all. I have a weird problem for a year now. I got mi box s 4k and my soundbar(s) started to act weird. The problem is when I connect mi box to TVs hdmı or soundbars hdmı , my soundbar does not work. Tv does not connect via arc and there is no sound from soundbar.

First my 3 year old lg tv and sony soundbar: Mi box to soundbar hdmı, soundbar(arc) to tv(arc) = no sound

Second mi box to tv hdmı, soundbar(arc) to tv(arc): no sound

Tv remote also cant change volume on soundbar. When I remove mibox , everything works just fine.

So I tried the box with my other samsung 2020 tv and lg soundbar. Same issue. Mi box somehow interfere with soundbar and tv connection.

Any idea what ım doing wrong. I don't want to use optical cable between soundbar and tv which works with mi box without problem but ı loose dolby vs..

Are there any versions of YouTube app for Sony KDL TVs runs on Linux armv7l Opera 12.50.9.80, for LG 55LA790V TVs runs on Linux armv7l LG Browser 6.00.00, that would allow to have playback speed control? Does such option exist in TV based apps of YouTube
