Does anyone know if a 32-inch 4k Android TV? Looking to get a telly for my bedroom (hence the size) and would like to stick with Android TV if possible (my living room set is Android TV and really like it).

I do have a speaker system but I can barely hear movie dialogue even after increasing the volume. Interestingly action scenes are really very loud. But I don't face this problem while watching cable TV. Is there any solution? Is there any app or something to adjust it? Thanks.

I am making my own m3u files and place the file in free Weebly site, then I use the link in iptv player on android (GSE IPTV and couple of others) but they show Zero channles while the same link plays normal on my computer VLC.

Why does Google have such a lack of 4K content to buy compared to Amazon and Apple? Even absolute blockbusters like Terminator 2 are missing when everyone else has them, is there a reason behind this or do they just have the worst store administration ever?

Has anyone else noticed that the GoogleTV version of Disney+ is like a different version then it is on other streaming platforms? Its also very clearly a worse version. has controls meant for a mouse, rather then just pressing left or right to rewind or fast forward. also it's just like, laggy and group watch is like completely broken.

It doesn't make any sense to me that just like, a worse version of the app would be on here when a better version already exists.

I have been using firesticks for years and recently bought a shield for downstairs. Looking for a new device to replace the second gen fire stick in my bedroom but don't want to fork out another £150 on a shield when the TV isnt 4k. Is there any other devices that are as easy to customise as the shield as I hate the effort it takes to make a fire stick nice. I'll only be using as a streaming stick.

Is there an alternative to Reelgood you like?

I used to love Reelgood, but lately I'm having way too many problems with Reelgood: I'm not getting notifications about movies on my Your-Want-to-See Movies list when they're added to my services. TCM hasn't been updated in months. And movies Reelgood says are available on some of my services often aren't anymore.

I looked into JustWatch, but it doesn't seem as, um, good as Reelgood ... or at least what Reelgood used to be.

I have a Vu 55inch Android Tv that I got in 2019 and it was working fine. 4-5 Months ago a white line appeared below the top of monitor ( like 2-3 inches below the bezels where tv channel logos usually are ). I ignored it but now the screen jitters. The jittering causes a 1-2 second of the screen texts and stuff being blurred and then going back to normal for 1-2 seconds and it keeps happening such. This is also happening when the Tv is booting up . It happens even in the android home screen without any set-top box attached. I have tried resetting the Tv but it hasn't helped it and I think it is something with the hardware.

What are the things that I can try ? I will call the Vu support tomorrow when they are open.

I have this setup:

Chromecast with Google TV --> Philips Hue HDMI sync box --> Philips 32PHS5505/12

When watching tv on the cromecast the tv randomly turns off then on again.

Do anyone know whats causing this problem?

I have a Philips Android TV (Google TV skin not applied) on Pie (9) and it has been factory reset over 2 times, have contacted PHILIPS, no luck, should i call Google? It just keeps restarting on its own and people are freaking out. We're about to just get a new TV if this doesn't stop.

Like the title said, since a few weeks the youtube app on my Sony XH90 keeps showing an empty homepage, with just the back to top button (which doesn't do anything).

I've tried clearing cache/data as well as rolling back updates and reinstalling them.

Nothing seems to work and I can find very little on Google. Do you guys have any idea what causes this issue?

To be clear, clearing the cache and force stopping the app works sometimes, but not 100% of the time. Besides it being a relatively intensive workaround.

I have an Android TV (local Singapore brand: PRISM+), and the only way I have managed to control sound coming out of external speakers (Edifier S350DB), connected to the TV is via Bluetooth. Using optical cable doesn't work, as in that case, the sound comes out of the TV speaker as well as the external speakers, and I need to mute the TV to only hear sound through the external speakers. The TV has an HDMI arc port. Is there a way I can use that, to connect my speakers so that my TV remote will work?
