Hi guys,
I just purchased a Android TV box from Amazon. It is the Easytone T95. I do not know much about Android TV boxes. I purchased this one because it had better hardware then my gen1 firestick. I looked into getting a newer fire TV device but the specs on all of them looked very low. Therefore, I finally settled for the T95 because it had a lot of good reviews, has a quad core A53 CPU, 4GB of DDR3, and a Mali-G31 GPU. I just hooked everything up and the box seams to be pretty fast. I have not had any hangups, buffering, or other problems relating to the hardware. I mainly purchased this box to replace my gen1 firestick that is outdated and underpowered. I remember with the firestick there was a modded Xfinity Stream apk that would allow you to watch your Xfinity TV lineup before it was officially released for fire TV devices. Is there a modded Xfinity Stream apk I can use for this Android TV box? When I install the Xfinity Stream Apk from the Google play store on this Android box and start it up everything appears to be fine. However, when I actually click on the channel or movie I want to see and click watch is when the problem happens. I get a message that says "Screen mirroring isn't currently supported. I am not trying to mirror anything. I am just simply trying to watch TV via the Xfinity Stream app on this Android TV box. I have looked everywhere and cannot find an alternative to this problem. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Link to exact error message.
Thanks, Rocky
So I was checking Mecool website to see if they were any update available. And then I've found this :

This box will not be produce by VideoStrong, but by Skyworth which got the Netflix certification.
Hi all, I have a Firefly ROC-RK3399-PC (also called "Renegade Elite") dev board that I desperately want to turn into an Android TV 10 box. Firefly has a great how to on how to compile the stock Android 10: Compile Android 10, but not how to compile Android TV 10! Does Android TV require a special build option? A different repo source? Is it just a series of apps that have to be installed on top of the stock Android?
After googling my guts out for months I still have no clue.
I will be eternally grateful if anyone can explain how to compile Android TV 10 from source!
Thanks in advance! -Dan
