It looks like it adds 4K support, and precious little else. What a bummer.
Looks the same as the current MiBox. User manual indicates that the name is also the same, MiBox S.
Edit: New model number is MDZ-22-AG. Looks to be a minor revision.
What is Xiaomi thinking? they call "refreshing" to this with the same old S905X SoC?
This could explain why the Mi Box S is overpriced on Aliexpress and out of stock in some places. Thanks for sharing!
While I understand everyone is mad that Xiaomi is just rehashing old hardware, I’m glad that my almost 5-year-old original Mi Box isn’t going to be obsolete soon lol.
