I know how to check the remotes battery in settings, but, is there a phrase I can ask the google assistant to give me the same information? If you ask it for the battery percentage it just says zero (probably a remnant of it being Android ).

Picked up my Mi TV Stick, since I decided to make my 2012 TV smarter, and the assistant works pretty well with turning on/off and docking my smart vacuum cleaner, since I paired it in Google Home with the stick. The problem is, the Google Assistant on the Mi Stick cannot set timers, judging by the Google website, Google Assistant on TVs should be able to set timers. Are there any issues in my Google Home configuration, or is it just that way, and I cannot do anything about it?

P. S. I have a Google Home, shared with 2 users: an iPhone - me, owner and creator of the house, and an Android user - just a member of the house. We have only 2 devices in the home - TV and vacuum. The Mi Stick and the Home is paired with the same Google account.

Long story short, I am working on my home network, and I tried to connect my TCL android tv to the wired network. After several attempts, I realized that it doesn't want to connect to the internet through my unmanaged network switch. In order to have a connection it has to be connected directly to my network router. Any ideas about this issue? Thanks!

If I sideload the AT&T TV app will it update through the Play Store?

My mi TV stick remote is missing and I've been using the Android TV app to navigate for the past few months. Unfortunately, a few days ago my wifi have been disconnected from the device and I don't know how. It says wifi not connected. So, I tried restarting my wifi and mi TV stick and also tried making a hotspot with same ssid and password with that of my wifi, still didn't work. Now I can't use the remote app without wifi connection. I even tried pairing the Android TV app via bluetooth but I cannot verify the pairing code on my TV without a remote.

Is there any way I can fix this issue? Thank You

I need help with the stuttering when I cast a file to watch on the TV and also tried to cast from phone screen. It is just not smooth at all.

I have used Chromecast before on a non-smart TV and it doesn't stutter like this.

Any recommendation how to fix this? It's a feature I use a lot

So I've been researching and it seems to be an issue with Disney+. While using Netflix and other apps I get Dolby Digital, for some odd reason Disney+ uses LPCM. Using HDMI ARC didn't fix the issue either. Tried to contact support and they were clueless. Does anybody have a fix for this issue?

Hi having issues with my 32inch TCL model 32S615. I was using it last night and clicked on the google App Store to download an app, it’s since been stuck on the android animation. Iv tried everything ….. unplugged it…..called the support line etc but nothing working. It always just reboots with the TCL logo then boom straight back onto the animation. Any fixes ?

EDIT: Solved under warranty. Part of the motherboard was broken.

YouTube Kids on CCwGTV shows ads even though i have YouTube Premium. YouTube recognizes this, but not YouTube Kids. How can i get it to recognize my premium status? Note that YouTube Kids is on a separate kids CCwGTV profile, if that matters.

So I have a weird question. Does anyone else have a Google Chromecast where movies will not remove from your "watchlist" no matter what you do? I have two movies on mine that just will not go away. I've removed them over a hundred times from both the actual device and from the computer both. I've downvoted them and marked them as watched. Still they continue to show up. And google support aren't any help in the matter.

I picked up a stream 4k the other day and have been enjoying it so far, but when playing games in the steam link app, every 30 seconds or so the video just freezes for a second or so. I've tried a couple games now and both do it. my PC is plugged in directly to the router in my room and the stream 4k is maybe 3-4 feet from the router, and I have gigabit internet, so I doubt it's my internet. is there any kinda fix I can do?

My family had bought MiBox probably 3 months ago and use it to watch youtube/netflix/amazon prime and I have never used MiBox by connecting with my device simply because I don't watch anything on TV and prefer watching stuff on my laptop. I generally use VPN for day-to-day surfing and out-of-the-blue I saw ads in Dutch language on the MiBox when I was connected to Netherlands IP address even though my device was not connected with the MiBox. That raised some serious eye brows because my family members don't use VPN (yes, I asked them this question after finding the Dutch ad), so does that mean MiBox can track my device too?
