Mine I have to go in to the all apps list, then long press home on the app I want to kill, then info, then force stop. It's pretty stupid imo
Has your Bravia been playing up lately by any chance?
The Apps interface on my TV keeps changing between an overlay at the side of the screen and a fullscreen display. When I select an app it propmpts a pop-up menu with the option to "Open" instead of just opening intstantly in one steps. Moving apps is also super glitchy.
Try double pressing home maybe? That's how I get to it on my Nvidia Shield
