I have a Philips 50PFL5766, when on ambient mode the weather it shows is for California but I'm in Michigan. Needles to say it's incorrect, I have location through WiFi enabled. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks!

I got my streaming stick a few days ago and immediately encountered an error with Netflix. When I would play certain titles like White Chicks and The Legend of Zorro, it would give me an error saying "We are having trouble playing this title right now. Try again later or select a different title.". It also gave error code tvq-pb-101 (5.2.15). Any solutions?

Just got an Onn streaming box, tried to cast to it and found the audio kept up with the computer but the video very quickly fell behind and out of sync. Has anyone had this issue or know of anyway to fix it? TIA

I've tried the standard google routine but can't find anything on my specific problem so I'm coming here next.

I just bought a xaiomi mi box s and also the rii x8 mini keyboard so I can use a web browser. Everything about the keyboard is great except that the back button on the keyboard (which actually says "back") doesn't do what it's supposed to. It does nothing. This means I have to keep the xaiomi remote handy too which is annoying. Anyone else encounter this issue? no other button on the keyboard seems to perform the same function as far as I can tell.

I adjusted TV’s picture settings by navigating the Settings icon from Home Screen but when I watch HDMI2, picture settings are different (default bright). How can I adjust picture settings of HDMI2 source without going back to TV’s Home Screen?

I'm wondering if there's a way that I could add things like Calendar events (most important), To-Do's, Notes, etc on the Standby Screen (you know, where it shows the clock and weather with wallpapers and stuff)?

Maybe sorta like a "At a Glance" widget thingy?

Or some other alternative?

I'm having trouble with the decoding of x265 (4K HDR 10 bits) files on my Google TV. I tried several solutions, both through a USB stick, locally or by streaming from my desktop computer, using various app or casting, but they all failed in terms of smooth video playback. They were all very choppy and impossible to watch. Several however were successful with the audio decoding and I could see 7.1 or 5.1 signal being transmitted fine to my receiver.

Now, I came across the Airflow app and for the first time, I got a very smooth and correctly decoded video stream directly from my desktop computer casting to the Google TV device. However, although the screen displayed the audio as being 7.1 or 5.1, the receiver was only getting a stereo signal.

What is wrong? What do you suggest? Am I on the right path??

Also, as a side note, I tried contacting the Airflow support but didn't get an answer yet.

My TCL 5 Series TV arrived broken months ago from B&H after opening it now and I couldn't get a free replacement from TCL and B&H. Also, there was no one who wanted to fix the TV. So I decided to get the 43-inch Hisense A6G TV yesterday from Best Buy with Geek Squad 2-year standard warranty. I am aware of their bad QA/QC but I am giving them a shot.

It is coming today and I hope that the panel isn't damaged when it arrives. Has anyone owned/bought this TV? What are your thoughts on it?

On clicking on cast in my Google home app in Android, I TV screen doesn't casts more than the first video frame.

Hi all, I've just purchased a TCL Android TV (Model 55P615) and have plugged in my Google Chromecast with Google TV, however, I am unable to setup the Chromecast remote to turn the TV on or control the volume.

I've confirmed HDMI CEC is enabled in the settings on the TV but whenever I try to setup the buttons I select "TCL" but none of the options work. I read somewhere that selecing "Roku" from the device manufacturer list works but this didn't work in my case.

My remote is sending phantom clicks. For example, when navigating a keyboard two clicks left will have a small delay then send the selector around the board as if I'd clicked 8 or 9 times.

I then click once on a letter and it will enter it 8 times.

Is this a known issue? Any known fixes?
