On clicking on cast in my Google home app in Android, I TV screen doesn't casts more than the first video frame.
Do you have Google photos (or any similar) app pre-installed? If yes, force stop > clear data once or twice.
This is a workaround reported by some users and needs to be repeated every reboot.
