I am using Mi Android {v9} TV, it's HD ready.

I can even stream 2-4k HDR video from Yt without any problem but when I try to stream something offline like from pendrive which is of pretty decent quality like an anime of 1gb/ep "ex - [Kametsu] Tanaka-kun is Always Listless - 01 (BD 1080p Hi10 FLAC) [2DA60047].mkv", it stutters and lags alot, basically unwatchable, is there any fix for it or the reason why it's happening.

Idk but some anime with similar size worked fine for me "[SubsPlease] Aharen-san wa Hakarenai - 04 (1080p) [A4EB0F27].mkv" like this for 1.4gb, and also, it's same with movies.

I thought the problem was with pendrive [16gb sandisk] in read and write speed but now I think it's not, bc when I try to play in laptop, it works fine.

Also, if there's any way to stream torrent file solely on TV lemme know, thanks.

So yesterday I downloaded a couple button remappers to try and remap the YouTube button to SmartTube, but neither of them let me do so, when I try and add the YouTube button to remap, they do not recognize the button press [in app] and therefore won't let me remap it. So my question is, is there a workaround for this?

Hello, i want to hard reset this TV but i don't know how to enter Android Recovery Mode. I activated the 4K simulate secondary display in developer option and got stuck at black screen. Now i cannot access anything in this tv Thanks!

I use Mecool KM6 Deluxe and frame rate switching displays a toast message with frame rate or just informs me it didn't have to switch every time, so it is really bugging me.

I know there are some apps for normal android, but is there a solution for Android TV? Thanks

Is it possible to install Roku Channel on Android TV devices via sideload?

I want a box that will natively support an external hard drive without needing some sort of USB power hub. I tried looking that up here but I couldn't find much answers pointing me to specific boxes that would definitely support a hard drive of this size.

I didn't know you could just add them. My mother's TV is a Roku and it has plenty of streaming channels on it. My Sony Bravia from a few years ago didn't come with any but a few weeks ago I downloaded Xumo and it added channels. I was surprised! Are there any other apps that do this for my television? Which is the best?

I'd order a SkyStream Max if it was available now, because it might be an easy (if expensive) way to get a SEI800 S905X4 device in the US.

But the expected ship date for pre-orders keeps getting moved into the future. They said March at one point, then April, and now May.

I realize that the plague is rampant in china now, but has SEI not been able to ship any devices at all to the SkyStream people?

Does anybody have a preorder pending? I've looked into instead importing the equivalent Homatics Box R, but the cost would be even more than the SkyStream Max.

But on 1080p displays, without HDR, it's better to turn it On or Off ?

I need to restart the box every couple of days because it keeps losing the synchronization between the audio and the picture. You notice when the lips of the actors don't match the sound. I restart the box and it's fine again. Couple of days later the same happens. I've got a YouIn box. Could it be a firmware issue?

So I have a Mi Box 4k with Sony HT-RT3 receiver, connected with the Toslink (SPDIF) cable. I came to know that Kodi can convert AAC (or any format) to AC3 on-the-fly. My receiver only supports AC3 through optical cable. All the right settings are on still the conversion is not happening for some reason.

• Enabled passthrough

• Number of channels 2.0

• Enabled AC3 capable receiver

• Enabled AC3 transcoding

• Disabled DTS capable receiver

Local AAC files through Kodi, and audio from Youtube addon for Kodi still shows as LPCM in the receiver. What can be the problem?
