Hey guys, i tried to download the firetv version apple tv app on my mibox 3. It worked except It kept popping up the login notice with only the quit button after logging in the amazon account. I have also in advance "own" the app in the amazon appstore so i dont know why it wont work. Are there any ways to bypass the "quit" page or any modded app to be downloaded? If no, i am considering to buy a firestick instead with the black friday discount lmaooo

I'm not too sure how to explain this, but when watching netflix if the scene has low audio the sound is being 'clipped' to silence and then when the audio raises slightly the sound 'pops' back.

So if the scene is of some wind rustling in the background it will go through periods of 2 seconds silence 4 seconds of breeze ect

or if a character is talking at the end of every sentence it cuts to silence and then pops back in as soon as they start talking again.

I have a Samsung NU7200 paired with a Nvidia Shield TV. Can I pair a remote from another Android TV model (Say the one from the Sony 950G) and it work with my shield?

I figure you could use the bluetooth for the Shield and if possible use the IR for the TV?

I gave my Raspberry Pi 3 to my sister. So need something to replace it. I could get a Pi 4 but the board alone is £58 for the 4GB model. All it needs to do is play local media over the network/NAS and USB with Kodi ( for library managing) and support for demanding formats like x265.

I'm looking at these android boxes on Amazon but 99% of them look like China crap with mixed reviews for various reasons.

I'm only on a 1080p display for now. But to save buying twice ideally it needs to support 4k.

The reason I was looking into android box instead of a Pi is the price and having to make your own power switch, or a plug with a switch on it, which isn't quite as ideal.

Hello everyone, so one year ago I bought a Sony Tv Bravia in China. The TV has the Android TV OS and I also install a VPN on the TV so I can access apps like Netflix and Youtube on China. There is just one problem when I try to log in on my account on Youtube I can't, the app itself restarts every time I press the log in bottom. The VPN work fine because I can see videos on YouTube. The only problem is logging in, I saw that you need to go the TV setting and log in there but on my TV there is no option like that. I am thinking is because of the fact I buy the TV in China.

So my tv just got upgraded to android 8. Now everytime I press the power button, it says "Your tv will shut down. Ok or cancel". Where is the soft power off? I don't want to wait for 30-60 seconds everytime I turn on the tv.

Hi, I recently bought an Android TV Mi-Box 3 but I'm very disappointed with video quality. In fact the rendering is not smooth for instance, there are drag for fast movement (like tennis ball) and aliasing for straight lines.

Do you know if there is any tips to improve video quality ?
