you can enable developer functions, and limit background apps to 1-2 apps. might help keeping the OS smooth
I don't know off-hand if Android TV has it, but for most Android products, enable developer options, and set all animation scales to off.
This will make it instantly respond to inputs, instead of showing an animation first. You'll lose out on some flashiness, but it will be far more responsive.
You dont need anything like that on Android anymore. Android now manages background apps and RAM use well. You can also easily and quickly clear the cache @ storage settings. Plus, most of those aps are crap, have ads, and sometimes cause issues.
