Some apps are super loud at 16 volume and some are relatively quiet at 70 volume. Even weirder is that the Netflix app seems to have switched from being a loud app to a quiet app. Anybody experience something like this?

I have a Mi Box S and literally will never use the built-in chromecast so it's just a nuisance. For example, playing music on Tidal will transition to the built-in chromecast with (albeit nice) photos instead of letting me glance to see what track is playing. Is there a setting to disable it so I just stay in whatever app?

Has anyone found a recent apk for Hulu on Android TV? I can't seem to find one and any new content shows as unavailable. For example Thundercats (Ho) tells me I can't watch until August 20th- which is almost in the past!

When I trigger GA and speak, it mostly just cant hear it...it responds once in ten tries!

Is there a tip for this to work properly? Where is the mic?

hello, My Metz TV 50 inch Android TV is experiencing some problems. It keeps saying that its connected to the wifi but has no internet connection. Weirdly Netflix plays fine and works but when I open YouTube and the Google Play Store it doesn't work. Any help on why this is happening?

I'm planning to get an Nvidia Shield this week. My main uses will be streaming through Plex, YouTube and Prime Video, but I like that I will have some other options.

My question is should I use my main google account for setting up a family room TV or should I make a new account for the device? I was thinking it might be nicest to not have the family youtube plays and activity connected to my personal account and vice versa.

How do you handle this?

I have a Hisense 4K tv with Android TV. However, It looks to me that the Android TV UI is in a lower resolution (maybe 1080p?), as well as most of the android apps UI. 4K video works with youtube, etc, but the UIs are not in 4K.

Does anyone know of a way to use Android Apps (specifically the UI) in 4K? I am hoping to use apps (including web browsers) that make full use of the 4K dpi to display data/charts on the screen.

The settings for play next channel on android TV home screen has a toggle for Netflix which is turned on, I’m logged into Netflix and yet play next channel never shows me Netflix play next items. The only ones this channel sees are plex play next items. Anyone ever got this working?

I don't know when it started, but recently I'm seeing ads at the top of my Nexus Player Home screen. They are labeled with "Google Play Staff Pick" or "Sponsored" but it's all pretty irrelevant content. Anyone know if there's a way to turn this off?

I installed a Sandisk 32 gb 3.0 USB drive as internal storage on my Sony 4K Bravia Android TV. However, the USB drive is only able to use 4GB of its entire storage capacity. While the system shows 26 GB of free space on the USB drive when I try to transfer any of the apps on to the Drive it says no storage or storage space is low. Any idea why this is happening? I formatted the USB using the TV’s storage formatting option. Please help.

I don't know if this belongs here ..if it's not.. Sorry My android tv box does not work on other isp .. If I turn it on it says connected to different network .. Connect it to ACT .. That was my isp (ACT) is there anyway to remove it..
