Hi all,

I have a Sony Bravia 55X85G, still inside warranty. The screen is stuttering, often very badly, while playing videos from USB HDD (Kodi and VLC), in YouTube app and while displaying 1080p content from STB. System is updated to the latest available one.

Could this be solved by a factory reset or the kind, or should I contact dealer support?

I posted this the other day and got a temporary fix from a user telling me to set the time manually. It did fix the problem but only for one night, now it's back to this problem. I've tried unplugging the TV and router for 60+ seconds and I've even tried factory resetting the TV to no avail.

My Date & Time are always set to 4 March 2020 at 15:33 hours. No matter if I change them manually, network, or broadcast, after I restart the TV it'll go back to that date and time.

I don't know what else to do, anyone have any idea why is this happening or how to fix it?

EDIT: Tried using a different LAN cable after factory reset, been smooth sailing since.

Can someone help with this error while using Netflix on Android TV (Android 8.0 Oreo) on VU TV.

The Internet connection is fine, tried multiple installs, u installs, formatting etc

It passed all the check your network tests in the app.

Does screen mirroring, from a stock Android 9 phone (Moto X4 Android One edition), to AndroidTV, work, when you have no home internet service, and no mobile hotspot service? In other words:

1. the ATV is disconnected from the internet,
2. the mobile phone is connected to the internet by LTE, and
3. Can the mobile phone beam its screen mirror directly to the ATV, over WiFi-Direct - no wifi router, just directly from the phone, straight over wifi-direct to the ATV?

I have been looking for a decent android box for a while now, my budget is 60 AUD. What would you reccomend. At the moment I am looking at x96 MAX, a95x F3 which will you reccomend? I am only using to watch basic streaming, play store is a must have, i want to stream overseas channels aswell as having netflix

I had recently bought a Tcl P8 and when I was checking the about the device it said that the patch was from October so I clicked on the system update and it kept saying that tv was already upto date even though it clearly wasn't so I used one of the firmware downloads and I was only able to update it to V302 is there any way to officially download a newer version other than installing the beta or the officially rooted version

I have got the playback speed controls on my smartphone, but don't have it on my Mi Box S.

Anyone got the Netflix playback speed controls on Android TV ?

I have two Mibox S's and I have the same problem with both. As long as I use them on a regular basis there is no problem. But if I use the red button on the top of the remote to turn either box off, then if I don't turn it back on for a day or two, when I try to turn it back on with the remote it will not respond. I am not sure if it's the box or the remote, but the only way to get it to turn back on is to power cycle the box, then it turns right back on again.

I tried to troubleshoot both the remotes and the boxes with no luck. I tried re-pairing the remotes. I fiddled with screen saver settings. I tried turning CEC off then back on. I tried toggling the going to sleep setting off and on and nothing seems to help. The only thing I have not tried is a factory reset. But since it is happening on both of my boxes I don't think it's anything I am doing wrong. Both boxes have the latest updates. I did turn automatic updates off in an effort to stop Google Home from updating and displaying ads on the home screen, but this problem was happening before then.

Hi all, sometimes when starting my tv, it'll stay black for maybe half a second before clicking off into a restart, displaying the phillips logo and the android splash screen, then functioning as normal.

My TV is a 43PUS7334/12, with all the software up to date.

The weirdest thing about it for me is how intermittent it is, sometimes it'll go a few days without happening, them sometime it'll happen multiple times a day.

Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Anyone having issue with sling tv app on the Sony android tv? Can not watch anything. The play button will not work.

So I've been using the TiVo stream 4k for about a week now and every other day or so I'll go to press the home button and the screen will go black. Everything still works I can open apps with Google assistant and they work fine but the home screen is blank. The only way to fix it is to voice navigate to the settings and restart the device. Any help on this issue?

Does anybody have the ethernet option working in developer options using an otg adapter similar to the ones used with firesticks/Chromecast etc or a usb hub for extra storage?

I just got a T95 android 10 box with two usb slots. When i plug in a usb thumbstick in nothing shows up under storage. Any advice or how to install android drivers on the Usb stick. I can only find windows drivers.

We have multiple netflix accounts in our household, and switching between them is a hussle.

Couldn't find a stright forward solution but I was wondering, is there a simple way to modify the original netflix apk so I could install another instance of netflix and just have it log to a different account?

Would love to hear your input of how feasible is it, or alternative solutions if you have any. Thx!

ive managed to get rid of amazon prime to free up a button on the remote so i could remap it to my tv providers app, i come to find out that i cant bind anything to the button because when i use button remap on android tv it doesn't recognize the button when i press it(just to clarify the button does work as it launched amazon prime before i removed it). what should i do to fix this issue?
