I was looking for Google TV AMA so that I can ask these question but couldn't find it. If there's one, please let me know.

1. Does it support both Netflix and Prime Video?
2. Does it support HDMI-CEC?
3. Can its wifi handle OTA ATSC stream without lagging?

Hello, not exactly sure if this is the place for it but I'll cut to the chase. So, a few months ago I bought a new mi box, it works fine and there's no problems except for all audio always stuttering, like almost every second.

I've tried using another box from a different brand with the same tv and same HDMI, same ports and all, no problems what so ever.

Yet with the Mi Box, I tried using a different TV, a different HDMI cable, different ports, turn HDMI CEC on/off, factory reset... none of those changed anything.

Can anyone please help me out here? Thanks in advance 🤗

I tried Puffin but their proxying of sites caused issues, and you have to pay a subscription.

I've tried the Fire TV version of Firefox, which seems great, however I cannot get a menu to show up once I have browsed to a page! I have a mouse connected and had seen suggestions of clicking at the left edge of the screen but nothing happens.

I've tried Chrome, but you can't get rid of the address bar at the top of the screen.

It could be interesting if anyone can extract the Android TV home APK (is it called google tv home now?) To try it in Android TV to see if it works, I have three Android tvs to try it on

Any Now TV subscribers with an Android TV based smart TV will be interested to hear there’s a new Android TV Now TV app available. It doesn’t seem to integrate with Home Screen channels but at least it means not having to switch inputs any more. Oh, and it supports the “boost” pass so for £3 a month you can stream in 1080p EDIT: Looks like this might actually only apply to Sony TVs; I had to download it from the Play Store to get it so assumed it was available to all. Sorry!

We all know most of the specs of the new Chromecast with Google TV, but there are two specs that no one has reported/confirmed. Does we know if it has WiFi and/or HDMI 2.1?

Every outlet only mentions the RAM, processor, Android version, and some other features, but WiFi 6 and HDMI 2.1 are actually the features I would like to have. Specially WiFi 6 for my Plex server.

I have a Sony Android tv, we have 2 remotes, one broke and now the second one has stopped working, before the second one stopped working we used the power button to shut it off, now we can’t start the TV, any help?

I have seen some people getting the device early. Has anyone been able to try out a USB hub with ethernet and external storage?

I'm new to sub and android Tv devices. Do android Tv devices have regular Google Play store and does it have all apps like Xbox game pass (for cloud streaming)? Or do manufacturers replace Google store with custom one with only approved apps? Especialy asking about new Google tv device. Also is Google tv best device to buy in its price range? Or would mi box s be better?
