Yep, last night i got shot down.
My guess is they'll be available when stores open, but who knows. I'm already 0 for 1, so I don't trust me.
Home Depot recently had a large news article about them selling it beforehand. They fixed their system to deny the sale. They just haven't removed it from the shelves.
My answer to that would be... here is 50 for the device... and 50 more... to look the other way as I walk out with the box. :P :)
I just tried to buy this at my local home depot and they wouldn't sale it to me. I thought today was the release date?
Just left home depot.. Had it in my hands at the check out, and was told they couldn't sell.. The cashier was a real jerk about it as well.
Had to talk with the manager. He would sell it, but it would be non returnable. I didn't want to chance it that it would DOA.
Interesting that the app is written in Java :)
