I don't have actual cable in the room I want to do this in but I have an internet connected AndroidTV.
I'm actually trying to get access to Science Channel content, which is part of the Discovery Network, and found that on the web version I am aable to log in using my Cox credentials and watch anything.
I'd like to do this on my TV though, not a web browser. I do see that there is a Science Channel GO app but it is not support on my Sony X950H. I also found the Discovery+ app this does support AndroidTV, however it runs off it's own credential system and I cannot log in with the Cox login.
Is there any way I can access Science Channel content from my internet connected TV?
Thanks
I know other Android TV users were complaining about ads on the launcher, but on Mibox3 it just breaks navigation.
My older Mibox3 received the update, after which you could only navigate left/right on the app row, but you couldn't navigate up/down to other rows or even settings.
To fix: I used this airmouse app from my phone, went into Settings > Apps > System Apps > Android TV Home, and uninstalled updates. You'll then need to disable automatic PlayStore updates, and sideload v2.3.1 of the app.
After upgrading to Kodi 19.0 Matrix, I had no sound and my video's would crash about 5 - 10 seconds in, or they would stutter badly.
I found that Inputstream.Adaptive in my add-ons was not enabled. I enabled it, and it's all working fine again now.
My TV is a Sony KD-55XE9005 in the U.K.
I'm not sure if this will affect everyone, but I thought I would post it, in case anyone else has the same problem. I've also posted this on XDA forums
