I formatted (FAT32 with MBR) a 16GB usb (Kingston DataTravler G4 USB 3.0) and added it to my Tivo stream with no issues. That's not a lot of storage so I wanted to try something bigger. I had a 2 TB HDD (HGST/Hitachi (HUA723020ALA641) sitting around the house so I threw in an enclosure (Mediasonic ProBox K32-SU3) and I cannot read the drive. I've formatted it using both MBR and GPT on FAT32, using both a Mac and GParted.
Is there something in the USB OTG that makes it a requirement in this case?
*edit: Maybe I'm missing something else? This is what I'm using for the USB-A to USB-C conversion which supposedly supports USB OTG.
