So the title says it all. Nova player Reads from a WD element 5TB HDD. Microstutter all over the place, 720, 1080, 4k it doesn't matter.
Tried limiting to 2 background programs and forcing 4MSAA.
Netflix uses wifi, Nova is fully offline. Oh and YouTube works perfectly fine. No stutters

No idea why it's happening, I don't have that issue. Maybe factory reset. It sucks having to redo it all but with microstuttering I assume it's unwatchable anyway.
Use Kodi or VLC player?
Well it is still not fixed sadly. YouTube runs butter smooth, but Netflix still has Stutter Evert 10-15 seconds.
UPDATE: ended up returning the device. Didn't buy a replacement.
