Would appreciate someone with a bigger brain than mine letting me know if GFN works with 3rd gen chromecast, or is it just the google tv chromecast

Hi i have a problem. My friend has a android tv and wants to use a GeForce now like me, but as when i plug in my mouse i can use it as for example on laptop, but when he plug in into his TV right click is binded as a back button therefore he cannot play most of games. Is there a way or an app to bind it as a right mouse button? Best regards

People really hype the shield as the best of the best, and I have been considering getting one. I currently have a CCwGtv and love it. Will there be any different between the two. They are both passing a digital signal via HDMI so I'm not sure what the difference would even be.

I have android tv and my tv is a procaster (can't remember the model name) and i want to use this app called button mapper, but the app requires that i enable the app in accessibility settings, but i can't find the app there, so i can't enable it, what should i do?

The Continue Watching function on my CCwGTV doesn't seem to refresh. Is there a way to refresh it? I have restarted several times and also deleted the cache on any system app that seemed a possibility, though I don't know what app actually controls that. Any help appreciated.

I've just bought Sony A90J with GoogleTV and everything is perfect, except for Apple TV app, which I can't log into. When I open the app and choose to log in it doesn't work. If I choose to log in using mobile device it jus tells me after 2-3 seconds that there was a problem and I should try later (there is no code, QR generated - just this message). When I try to log in by typing password manually using TV remote it "loads" for about a minute and then tells me it's unable to log in. App has been updated to the newest version, TV OS and firmware as well. I am unable to delete the Apple TV app to reinstal it, I can only "Disable" the app.
Do you know of any solutions to this?

Hello, as the title said, I want to remove just "Google Play Movies & TV", not all the other apps. I know about app only mode, but this is not useful because it removes everything.

Is there an official or alternative (sideloading) way of doing that?

I personally feel overwhelmed by the amount of information it shows and filled with random unnecessary reccomedations. For context i have not tried it yet, but looking at reviews online it kinds gives me a reason not to buy the new Chromecast.

I highly prefer the android oreo UI thats gives you your main apps at glance while also mantaining some reccomedations from other apps. Keeping a balance.

Again, my opinion may change once I try it, but if anyone of you have used it, please tell me how is it and how did the transition felt like to the new UI from the old one ? Lemme know.

I'm trying to accomplish something, and not sure if its even possible. I would like to create a "playlist" of TV shows for example; (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Friends, Cheers, Family Guy, etc) assuming I'm subscribed to the services that hosts the shows. I would like to be able to play random episodes of the shows in the playlist, like 1 random show of Happy Days, then 1 from Laverne & Shirley etc

Kind of creating a "night of TV" from back in the day in how it used to be, but with new technology.

Any ideas?

I just bought a new Android TV and I have a couple of google home minis I use as smart speakers in my room. Is there any way I can use the minis like additional speakers to my TV? I'm hoping for something like a home theatre experience.

This feature is usually shown on Android when you go to connect to a WiFi connection, under advanced settings then "proxy" and then "Proxy Auto Config"

As the title says, my device (samsung j6) can't find my tv box anymore. Other devices connected to the network seem to connect just fine, besides mine. I tried reconnecting, reinstalling chromecast, and even reset the tv box, but it's obvious my device is the problem. Anyone knows what's up?

I could be blind, or the feature could just not be added yet. Have to ask before i go crazy though. I'm using it on my shieldTV units and i'd love to disable autoplay.

I cant download any apps on my android tv because it says i have insufficient storage. Then i installed a usb drive for additional storage but when I migrated the app it fails and it says I have insufficient storage. Can someone help me? Thank you very much

I have a lg B7 and I hate not being able to access the play store. A new chromecast with google tv is cheaper than an android tv box, but I've heard stuff like google tv isn't a operating system etc. Couldnt find any direct answers, so I'm a bit confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Got two of these for my emulators on my new Bravia X90H. Pairing is simple. However, when you turn off the controller OR turn off the TV, the pairing resets.

Anybody run into this issue and have some advice? TIA
