The lazy in me hates opening the app and clicking the remote to control the tv. Theres times when I need to do a quick volume adjustment, I'll have to go to the app and reconnect to the specific tv I want to control. Takes sometimes half a minute to do something that was quick previously.

Anyone else have this problem?

So i bought this wireless keyboard/mouse online for a couple of months now and it worked just fine until suddenly it stopped working. there are three light indicator below the volume racker and the third light is just blinking orange. i've tried searching for solution and i've seen tons of people had the same issue but the solutions i've found from youtube videos are quite unintelligible. i just really need this keyboard to work because the stock remote that came with my android tv box sucks so any help would be much appreciated!

If anyone factory reset android tv without oem remote or the remote was discontinued read this. I bought 3 different remote off Amazon with no luck pairing and was stuck on the set up welcome page. 2 weeks later I finally went and bought a cheap USB mouse from Walmart and connected to tv USB port. It worked and I finally set up tv without remote. It only works on Android tvs I believe. I have a xbr-43x800d sony bravia tv. Hope this helps someone!

I need serious help with resolving this Netflix issue on my TCL 65C725 TV. This TV runs on Android 11 OS.

Launching Netflix gives the error code ui-800-3 (307006). I have tried all I can without success.

The TV came with Netflix v 8.1.0 build 3808 and I have tried other version ranging from Netflix versions 6 to 8. Versions 6 and 7 are not supported on the TV. Several version 8s give the same error code ui-800-3 (307006). Updates from the Google Play Store does not work either.

What can I do? I have 4 of these TVs and I'm really frustrated.

Is there a way to provide constant power to the USB port on the back of my Philips Android TV?

I have an onn Android TV UHD device. I've connected a USB keyboard to the device via OTG. The keyboard works, but I've found that the backspace key is interpreted as a back navigation event. So, if I'm typing in an app and then press backspace (intending to delete the previously typed character), the result is going back to the home screen, or whatever pressing "back" on the remote would usually do.

Is it possible to configure the backspace key on a USB keyboard to NOT cause a back navigation? Ideally, if the focus is on an input text box, the backspace key would delete the previously typed character(s).

Just got my first Google TV, if anyone can recommenced any gorgeous screensavers I would be most grateful. Started with Blaze a 'Virtual 4k fireplace' (as you do) and I have graduated to Ariel Dream App today which is absolutely wonderful. Of course, the possibilities are endless!

I've got both a google tv and the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter.

However, once I hook everything, it tells me that there is not enough power for the google TV.

The connection goes likes this:

POWER BRICK connected to APPLE USB C HUB connected to GOOGLE TV which is connected to MY TV

Do any of you guys have the same issue?

So I understand that the Amazon Prime Video app is a problematic one. I'm having an issue where, when I open the app and try to play a video, it will try loading it for about 30 seconds then say an error occurred. I'll have to kill the app, then reopen it. The problem typically comes back the following day.

Does anyone else often have a problem with it like this?

I am looking to purchase a decent 4k android tv certified device. I know some cheap options are allready available. I Wanted to know if there any hidden gems. I am looking for 4k with ok specs.

I just purchased an ONN android box from Walmart and set it up on a test tv. Now I want to use it somewhere else. Can I just rerun the wizard without factory resetting it? I plan to use this as my mobile unit and will want to do this often. Thanks in advance.

I have a shield pro 2019. Fantastic device, especially for the lossless audio, and all its ports.

I also have a chromecast with google tv, a 50 USD device. How can this small dongle force dolby vision on every thing and even make SDR look that good? I'm confused.

See title. I can navigate to the app with the shield game controller but after that I have to rely on ARC through my Sony TV remote to negotiate my way through the app.

Does this exist? I do really like my 2019 Shield Pro but it's honestly getting on my nerves a bit, I use it a lot for displaying Spotify, looking through Plex etc. It looks awful in 1080p when you are used to in 4K.

Is there an android tv that has this? I really liked the apple TV having 4K HDR throughout the UI. It was a massive difference

I'm using this useful app with my Bravia XH9096 (X900H in US).

I've mapped the color buttons on the remote (Red=Youtube, Yellow=Plex, Blue=Kodi) and they work fine but... I noticed that once i tap the button i can see the remote signal constantly transmitting to the television non-stop. I have to tap any other non-mapped button just to get the transmission to stop.

Is there a way to fix it?

I have a shield tv pro 2019, i want to record some moments from 4k movies in kodi and i’ve tried NVIDIA share but it’s only up to 1080p. Does anyone know if it’s possible to screen record in 4k without any additional hardware? Thanks in advance

I am wondering if anyone has successfully automated a projector driven by Android TV (I am using 10.0). I am looking to be able to turn the projector on at a certain time and have it start playing a specific file off a USB drive plugged in. Then to turn off at a certain time. Rinse and repeat.

To make sense of it, it is for Halloween and I am looking to play a series of clips I combined into a single MPEG formatted file.

I have multiple automation platforms I can control things with, including Vera/Ezlo hubs (Z-Wave/Zigbee/Lua script for everything else on Wi-Fi), Home Assistant, Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Is it possible to enable hands-free (with wake word) Google assistant on my Sony A8H running Android TV using an external microphone? Many new TV are coming with a Built-in mic and this feature enabled but my TV does not have a Built-in mic. (there is mic on the remote but needs to press the assistant button)
