Which android tv launchers feature "watch next" integration like the standard android tv launcher has?

I have a shield tv and I don't like seeing promotional materials. All I want to see is;

• links to the apps I have installed (netflix, prime video, smarttube next, plex)
• a row to continue watching content on those services.

What launcher fits this specification. If none, why not? From my brief investigation, it looks like a specific google api that may not be exposed outside of google?

I recently own a Sony Xr-55A84J with Google TV (Android TV). Al suggestions are based on Prime and Disney Plus. Because Netflix isn't available under connected services. The app it self is logged in. How do I get Netflix to show up. Google didn't had any results

I have a Sony Bravia, up till very recently I was able to tell Nest Mini to play a show or movie and it would start playing it on my Bravia Android tv with built in chrome cast. For some reason now it would say Ok playing (show) on Netflix on living room tv but nothing happens at all. I restarted everything, made sure all devices are on the same network and unlined and linked netflix again in Google home settings. As mentioned this was working just fine until it stopped.

There is no error message or anything, it says ok but then absolutely nothing happens. I can cast from the phone and mini is able to play sling tv channels using voice but not Netflix Anyone having this issue? Really don't get why it just suddenly stopped working

Is it possible to erase existing ROM in my tv box to androidTV and that changes my DRM security for digital media? My box unfortunatelly only plays streaming at 480p (L3) and only discovered it after arrival in my house. Guess that, since ATV is homologated by Google, it would solve my problem?

Guys I've been searching all over the place for a remote control for my Android TV.

I am fed up with the generic, standard remote that came with, which lacks of a microphone, is clicky, and big.

I bought a replacement remote for a mi tv box that connects with Bluetooth but didn't seem to work (can't be paired or discovered over bluetooth) . I've been thinking to buy one from mecool as well but i am not sure about it.

The TV is a Toshiba 55UA2063DG.

I need something definitely with a mic and more compact preferably that could connect over Bluetooth and be compatible with the tv. Any suggestions???

Best Android TV Box Under 70Euro ? Im looking for Watching Movies/Shows from USB and playing some Android games

Idc for Netflix / 4K / Hulu

I just got one and I’m pretty disappointed. It’s setup was kinda slow and a bit annoying. The interface is also a bit crap imo… couple of things I’ve encountered which I don’t really look forward to figuring out…

• recently watched show displays on home screen (that’s good) but clicking it just leads to a partial load of the app and then a return to Home Screen
• I have to scroll and click much more than I’d like to in order to get to recently downloaded apps… Would be nice to see more than 7 apps listed on the home screen
• it doesn’t seem to have the ability to connect to free streaming channels without an antenna… rokutv can do this and I think it’s awesome, and I like channels dedicated to showing reruns of individual series from the 80s!!

Tv is a TCL, it was a top pick on wire cutter and I got it on cyber Monday. Price was great, solid source and TCL is usually great. Don’t know how to feel about all of this, I’m a little sad

How well does the ONN Streaming box work? Thinking about getting one as a secondary streaming device. Thanks.

Edit: One thing I would need to work on it is Prime Video.

Edit 2: Bought one this afternoon. So far very impressed. Very nice device for $20 and seems solid so far, no issues. TV controls work on my Sanyo TV. Has all the apps I use.

Is it possible to add TV (Sony KD-ZD9) with "chromecast built-in " to a Google Home speaker group?

The option is not available on my Google Home app on android.

Is there a solution to this?

Ideally I want to know if it's possibly to play sound through the TV speaker and the Google mini simultaneously.
Would slotting in a Chromecast work?

After about a year of usage, the remote of my CCwGTV no longer works perfectly – specifically, the UP direction of the 4-way wheel on top only works once in a while, and when pressed hard.

I know one can buy a replacement remote, but until I get that, is there an (iOS) app version of the remote? Like there’s a Philips Remote app for my smart TV, or a remote app for Apple TV?

How can I disable the annoying #WatchwithMe feature which shows you some celebrity's picks and takes up an unreasonable amount of space on the TV screen?

Unfortunately Flo doesn’t have an Android TV compatible version and not sure if the tablet/phone version would work. However they do have a Fire TV version. Was thinking of side loading the Fire TV version onto my Android TV.

Hello all! I have the latest version of Google TV, installed Plex successfully and can watch my local server movies successfully.

I would love to have the Google TV movie lists include my Plex videos as one of the ways to watch. I've hunted through all of the settings and cannot figure out how to make my Plex library a part of the choices.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I had a Sony Bravia x90F (Android TV) before, telling my Google Assistant to "turn off the living room TV" will turn it off.

With the new TVs that I got, A80J and X90J, you have to use Sony's cloud services for it to talk to your assistant speakers.

The trigger phrase is "Hey Google, talk to Sony's TV". Then a bell will sound which means the assistant speaker will now wait for the next command, where you can control the TV (turn off, volume up/down, change source).

I don't know why they did this, I honestly think it is stupid.

I am ok with using the remote to turn it off, it's just because of this "feature", I can't turn off the TV anymore as part of my (Bedtime) routine. Before I would just say , "hey Google, goodnight" and it will pretty much turn off everything (lights and TVs).

Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? Hoping for sugestions.

I have recently bought a Sharp C40bl2kf2ab and was looking forward to using TV apps such as iPlayer and All 4 on demand due to not having an aerial. Having tried to access said TV apps I have been given the error code FVP-300 (I believe due to their link to Freeviewplay, which I am unable to setup due to no aerial to scan for channels). I have seen older posts following similar issues, but was wondering if there was a round this?

Note: I live in a rented basement flat and have tried plug in aerials which aren't able to gain any signal.

Noticed this recently. Any videos on YouTube which is uploaded with 60fps refresh rate, the resolution on TV is maxed out to only 720p. Videos on YouTube which isn't uploaded with 60fps and on 4k, the video plays in max resolution.

Any advise on how to fix this will be highly appreciated.

I have an ADT-2, and have been working on porting LineageOS to it like we did for the ADT-3, but given it was a limited supply device not sold to the public, having trouble sourcing one/two of them beyond the one I have.

Anyone have one I could buy off them? Willing to pay shipping & the cost of a similarly spec'd device.
