App to replace CCwGTV remote?

After about a year of usage, the remote of my CCwGTV no longer works perfectly – specifically, the UP direction of the 4-way wheel on top only works once in a while, and when pressed hard.

I know one can buy a replacement remote, but until I get that, is there an (iOS) app version of the remote? Like there’s a Philips Remote app for my smart TV, or a remote app for Apple TV?

there's google tv app and your tv remote as well

Couldn’t get the Google Home app to work – it says ‘you need to change your settings’ but not which settings to change. Tried Android TV app on iOS, but it could not detect my CCwGTV, despite being on the same network. Joker for now is my TV remote – apart from the GTV Home-button, everything else works fine in the CCwGTV interface!
