PLEASE HELP!! I need a new remote for an Android TV!!

by BoUTzZ360

Guys I've been searching all over the place for a remote control for my Android TV.

I am fed up with the generic, standard remote that came with, which lacks of a microphone, is clicky, and big.

I bought a replacement remote for a mi tv box that connects with Bluetooth but didn't seem to work (can't be paired or discovered over bluetooth) . I've been thinking to buy one from mecool as well but i am not sure about it.

The TV is a Toshiba 55UA2063DG.

I need something definitely with a mic and more compact preferably that could connect over Bluetooth and be compatible with the tv. Any suggestions???

Thanks guys!! Much appreciated!!

In the states? Buy an Onn Box for $20. Probably going to be the best Bluetooth remote for the price

I use an Nvidia Shield remote with my Philips Android TV. Voice control works.

I have an NVIDIA Shield and I use a little usb device called a FLIRC to use my logitech remotes with (You can literally use any infared remote you want, so you can get a cheap dollar store remote or a $300 Logitech remote). The device itself looks like a keyboard to the android box, and basically what you do is match remote buttons to actions, and when you press a button on the remote, the FLIRC catches it, determines what it is supposed to do, and then tells the box to do it.

Best bet might be to buy a "chromecast with Google TV" for about $39 usd, and use that instead of the built in.
