Hello guys, today I'm going to update my mi mix s to the ota 2 beta 2. First of all, i do "wipe data/factory reset" and do "wipe cache" and when I try to use update option, electricity gone. Now I cannot go into recovery, there's no mi screen comes up and I don't have any tools like USB to USB cable, or screwdrivers. I have only usb. I think I brick it, what should I do??

Edit: No Mi screen comes up after these still. Usb "Xiaomi_update" method not work and there's no sign about recovery mode. Red light in the optical output still working.

Edit2: Guys it solved! My pc, ps4 and tvbox on the same TV. When I only use hdmi port for mi box, it opened! When I stick pc hdmi, mi box screen disappearing😅 I never see something before like that 😅

i have a mi box 3 with android oreo. i have alreadysideloaded the latest vesion of kingroot but it gets stuck at 1 percent. any help is ok

As we know Android TV has no setting like stock Android has were it offers option for default Home screen (launcher).

Hi, I have Philips 55PUS7304 androidTV with Samsuns Q76R/XE soundbar (same as Q70R?), both support Dolby Atmos, but I cant seem to get the soundbar to regonize Dolby Atmos sound when I'm playing a video file with Atmos sound on Kodi app. TV is running Android 9 and I have installed latest firmware update on the soundbar.

The soundbar regonizes Atmos when I play the file in TV's built-in videoplayer but not in Kodi. I have fiddled with every audio passthrough setting in Kodi but with no luck. 2.0 channels with passthrough enabled, all boxes ticked on formats etc. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also when I enable "multichannel passthrough" on TVs audio settings I get no sound whatsoever on my soundbar or TV, I have to use just "multichannel" to get sound, this applies to every app, videoplayer or plain TV channels. Is it normal?

I am from Canada and am trying to get US TV channel apk for android tv. I can get most of what I want but there are some apps I cannot get. Being that I am in Canada, I can't get access to the US playstore, even with the use of the VPN.

This leads me to my question. There is android development software that lets you run a virtual android machine. I wanted to know, if I were to run this, and run an android TV virtual machine, could I then download the apks myself from the store?

There are a lot of watch party style apps out there, watch2gether, netflix party to name a few.

However, I've not seen any that particularly shout about Android TV (or Chromecast).

Given the Covid-19 Public Health Emergency has us all social distancing, I'd like to watch, say, Plex, Netflix, YouTube etc, with a few friends. We used a Zoom call on laptops/tablets last night and verbally synced up at specific timestamps, and tbh found it hard because we could all hear the audio through the Zoom call. Perhaps we can't solve every problem there.

What I'd like is a service that:

1. Allows you to sync services and positions on Android TV clients (ideally not just them) for viewing.
2. If possible, also include some video calling support, be that directly or nicely usable with a seperate service.

You can assume that each viewing household has an account for the service in question (e.g. we all have netflix accounts).

What is the correct APK for the NVIDIA Shield Pro, the newest model 2019. I see these APK's listed:

Ive tried two different APKs from apk mirror etc. When trying to install both, it says App not installed.

I currently have a cheap MECOOL box I gor from amazon on sale and it has replaced my vintage WD TV box but not my Apple Tv because netflix does not work on it

Hey, I have in my room mi box 3, and I want to use wlan channel 13 on my router, beacuse I get much much better results on this channel than any other channels I tested.

The problem is the mi box does not recognize my wifi network on this channel.

I have to say that it works perfectly on channel 13 before I upgraded to android 8. I tried to change the language but it didn't work.

My router does not support 5ghz, and Im not willing to buy new router, also I don't have ethernet access in my room (old apparment).

If there's any tweak or solution for this, I would love to hear. Thanks 😊

I've been trying to install Disney plus on my android TV. It seems that with simple apk it is not working. I am unable to finish the installation because it fails. This happens when installing from internal or external memory.

I have found the apkm file from apk mirror but I have issue with the apkm Orford app to unpack it as the pilot doesn't work on the install window.

Would you have any idea how I could get the app installed?

This is a legit question, i have the Disney account already and it is working on the laptop. App from store is nowhere to be seen.

hopefully I won't get blamed by this question because it could be that I'm not the first one who is asking it...

I'm asking me what the pro's of a nvidia shield tv are compared to e.g. Xoami Mi Box. When I'm looking in youtube reviews I don't find them out why to pay 100-150 €/$ more for a shield tv than for the xiaomi box (except you limit the functions only to hometheatre and movie playback, not for games).

I have a 50PUS7304 software version tpm191e_r.001.002.173.004

I downloaded kodi which defaults into 1080 res, downloaded a res check app, which says that at least my tv menu is also in 1080p, and kodi probably defaults to that.

Anyway to change my resolution? Cant see any options in my tv setting. I don't have alot of android settings. Is there an apk i could download that would just force it or something?

Does it play it back fine? Any stutter?

I understand the shield is probably better but I'm not looking to spend that much.
