I didn't updated from andriod 8.0 so I guess after this update everything will get fixed so it's ok to update.?

I did the update and then a factory reset , everything is working great

Anyone has seen that "writing over USB" feature in action?

Every app that can write to storage refuses to write to external USB devices for me.
