I can watch avengers endgame 94 gib without any stutter and plenty of variety of other bitrates
No problem so far, I have watched remuxes and rips.
I've done that with the Mibox3.
I throw remux 2160p files at it with truehd atmos. And it does it without a hiccup.. There is litereally no reason to buy a shield tv if you want to play 4k remux files.
MI box 3, high bitrate 4k, no problems so far also with an external HDD connected to a server
It can play 4k remux files, no hiccups (HDD connected to the USB port).
I will say though... I do not recommend leaving your HDD connected to the Mi Box S because it keeps turning the drive on and off in standby mode, can't be healthy for the drive, also makes those disk noises.
I have tried a group of 4K demo videos on loop and they play stutter free for over an hour.
They are averaging at 70Mbps so I think the Mi Box S should handle high bit rates just fine.
The tests were done before and after the update most people say was a disaster.
3,2,1 Shield fanboys are coming saying their device is the best etc.😁
Beside the jokes It can handle very good tested on Mi BoX 3 & S.
