I have a refurb 2018 Ultra thats lost some of its functions and am thinking of replacing it with a 2020 Ultra or a GCWGTV. If i choose the GCWGTV will it provide better picture and sound quality then the Ultra? Either will be hardwired to a up with Hisense H55 Android TV on a network with 200mbps.

Have anyone been able to install and use Mouse Toggle with the stock chromecast remote?

I am beyond amazed how amazing my new Philips 58PUS8505/12 TV is... until I want to cast something or turn it off. Could you please help with these issues? I have tried everything, from factory resseting, linking different Google accounts to contacting the support.

1. Google Home integration is messed up as hell! Technically, the TV has been added to Google Home app and I can change its volume but here it ends. I cannot turn it off (or on) with just my voice. I cant open Youtube or Netflix, nothing. I get no response from Google Home or I get the usual "check the manual whether this is supported". It is, it worked completely fine on my way older Android TV and Mi Box.
2. Chromecast built in works - 10 minutes after turning on the TV, then it simply disappears as a target from all my apps. Supporting app on TV is running in the background, the result is still the same if I try to uninstall the updates.
3. This is rather a complain but is it just me or this TV is killing apps like crazy. Even the launcher is loading everytime I go back home..

I know it may seems stupid but I use my TV rather as a screen. Both voice control and casting are crucial to me. Do you have similar problems or is it just me?

UPDATE/Solution?: I renamed my TV from "TV" to "Philips TV" and it seems Google Home started to work from time to time. Once in ten times I can turn it on. Turning it off does not work at all. Netflix is also broken, Youtube and Spotify works almost perfectly. Chromecast suprisingly also works.

I’m coming with a problem that was mentioned here about limited quality on YT for Philips users. After some digging and checking turns out it only affects 60fps videos, everything else up to 4K works fine. So I came here to ask, especially Philips users, if you have similar issues or maybe everything is fine for you, or if maybe other brands TV users had that problem. It’s really annoying cause after contacting support they say that vod platforms only caused problems, and it’s google/youtube fault for those issues. It’s slowly pissing me off cause it’s been a thing since November and still no fixes have been issued.

Hi all Have this issue with Mi Box 4K S running AndroidTV 9 where YouTube App will work fine on fresh boot up but when I come back to my TV later in the day it will stutter the sound every second or start for a few seconds and then stop. It’s a new Mi Box and I have also tried all Android updates and even a full restore but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks

6 years ago our family got this TV, thinking it was Samsung through some cheap market, though it still cost about 350$. I recently checked though it's model number, it says LEDTV, lol. Looked at the back and it says "32F6300" and made in Bankok.

I'm pretty sure it's fake because I can't find the same TV anywhere on the internet. The UI looks very identical to the old T95Q Android TV Box. It's running Kitkat.

But since it's Android, can I flash it with a custom ROM somehow, and maybe do something about it? Any ideas?

Could someone tell me how to fix freezing bug? Mecool km3 android 10. Internet speed 120mbs on box

Tried a lot iptv apps tivimate, televizo and others and with all of them keeps freezing. Only goes sound and video freezes.

Tried power off, cleaned caches. Also tried couple iptv other sellers and its the same.

Any one have idea how to fix it? Maybe downgrade firmware to 9 but how to do it?

I don't like the look of whatever ezmeeting-2 is? I do not recall installing anything by that name.

My TCL gave out and I am in the market for a new TV. I used a Xiaomi Mi Box with my TCL for Kodi and it was a pain. So, I was hoping that buying an Android TV would mean that I no longer have to use my Android TV box.

I'm going from deception to deception with my so called "smart" TV that actualy doesn't do much. But it was rather expensive and I'm not looking to replace it anytime soon, so I have to adapt.

Next issue in line, no Disney + app in my TV, not download available eiher. And WandafreakinVision is coming. Imagine the stress.

So, that's it. I'm buying an Android box or TV box, don't know yet. I hate blind buying and Reddit is now so much better that most reviews you can get. So, here's what i'm looking for :

- An at least HDR Android Box (would rather have a full Android access than just the Android TV, but it would work)

- RJ45 ethernet connection, this is a must, or that buy won't be no use due to my shitty Wifi.

- Having a Bluetooth connected keyboard would be a plus.

- My TV is on a wall, so having the option to fix the box under would be great (that's a gimmick, I know, but gimmicks are important).

I don't know much about this tech field, kindof a newbie, so all advices are very much welcomed.

I want to upgrade my old smart TV to be able to use all streaming services (it has prime & netflix but doesn't support disney+)

That about sums it up what I want to do. Stream and maybe use it as a better link between my smartphone, tablet and laptop.

And I specifically do not want a voice assistant, since they apparently listen even when they're not activated.

Ideally I want to spend less than 100.

Can you recommend any tv sticks with these requirements?

It works just fine inside Disney+ and the main search screen though.

Can I fix it or is remote keyboard just not supported by those apps?

Hi all, I have installed google TV on my shield pro 2019 back in October and everything has been working fine until recently. Now I have the following issues that have appeared in the last few weeks:

1. When using NordVPN, the google tv UI isn't loading anymore, I was using Surfshark before and it was loading fine, now with nord I only get the apps row and that's it, no recommendations. In Surfshark I was able to select individual apps to use the vpn, others would bypass it and google tv was loading fine with all rows and tabs. In Nord I can only select apps to bypass it and I can't select launcherx (google tv UI).
2. All my Netflix recommendations are gone, now I only get prime, itv and iplayer recommendations and everything from netflix is only available to buy or rent through google tv (GFY google). It was working fine until about two or three weeks ago, I was able to see netflix recommendations just like prime and other services and was able to "watch now" in netflix. I have checked in my google services and netflix is selected.

I'm in the UK by the way. Anyone else having similar issues, what gives?

Using my googletv for a month now and while I enjoy it, there's delays when I make actions, use features like the voice button, scroll through the interface. .

My AP only services 5 devices, and when using the Googletv it is the only device using bandwidth

Conversely when using my friend's googletv, it felt extremely snappy and the voice feature was almost instant with its results.

Has anyone else encountered this? How have you resolved it? My internet connection is great, 300/300 with no walls between the googletv and the router.

These past days I've been trying to connect my MiBoxS with the ethernet cable as I've done many times in the past but it's no working. I've tried using different cables and USB hubs but nothing works, occasionally it will appears as it is connected but it only lasts for a few seconds, I've tried the same hubs and cables with other devices and they work perfectly. As I've said before I've done this many times before and until now it worked. I could really use some help using wi-fi with the MiBox is useless.
