Hi folks.
Hoping someone might be able to help, though I've spent days reading every post I can find so I think I might be out of luck.
I FOOLISHLY updated the firmware on my parents MiBox3 trying to fix a performance problem and now am hitting all kinds of problems and have definitely made it worse for them.
The hifi receiver won't recognise it, the webcam no longer works on it, Youtube freezes now on occasion.
I want to go back Android 8 if I can, and have read the downgrade instructions that tell you to use Amlogic burning tool - but no joy.

I think I've narrowed the problem down to the fact that the device, rather than showing up per the instructions as MIBOX3, it shows up as "once".
I've tried multiple leads, multiple laptops, I've tried shorting 2 pins inside when powering the thing on - every time it just shows up as "once" and until I can get around that, I wont be able to flash the Android 8 back onto it.
If anyone has encountered this and managed to get past the issue, PLEASE let me know. Desperate here. Otherwise I will be buying them a new player.
Thanks everyone.
Hi..
Does anyone knows a way to stream my own Torrent and downloads library from my Real-debrid account ( like this Here 1and Here 2) into my android tv using an app or something?.. currently I copy the download link and play each episodes individually on MX Player but it takes time between episodes..
I watch my TV alot during the nights in the dark and the brightness is always too much for me, even at 0%
So after a long time of searching on the internet and trying different apps. I've finally found one that actually works in Android tv
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nu.lower.brightness
'Lower Brightness Screen filter' It's not available on Android TV play store. So download it on your phone and transfer the apk to your TV. Install it. Grant it the permission to draw over apps.
Then open the app and adjust the slider as per your requirement.
The app won't show up on the homescreen so I'd recommend using 'sideload launcher' app.
Works really well on my Sony 49" x8000g It's not the most convenient simple solution but it's the only one that I've found to work.
